Safety
Not only can the Packers use some insurance at cornerback, but they also can use help at safety. The secondary remains up in the air for how the Packers want to attack 2024. One thing's for sure: they must add via the draft and free agency. With multiple options available in free agency, the Packers should be able to sign some depth if they don't target safeties early in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Potential Targets: C.J. Gardner-Johnson, Kyle Dugger

Cornerback
Despite having clear starters in the fold at cornerback, the Packers need more depth at the position. It was evident that with injury concerns last year at the position, Green Bay didn't have the depth required to survive when challenged. If the Packers have hopes to make a run at the NFC North again and challenge for a conference championship, adding depth at corner is a must.
Potential Targets: Kendall Fuller, Steven Nelson
Offensive Line
All signs point to the Green Bay Packers having their next franchise quarterback in Jordan Love. Suprise, surprise, the Packers got it right at the quarterback position again. If the Packers want Love to continue playing at a near-MVP level, they need to do their best to keep him on his feet and protected. To do that, having depth on the interior line is essential. We're not saying anything the Packers don't already know.
Potential Targets: John Simpson, Robert Hunt
Defensive Line
Continuing to add talent to their defensive line is another area the Packers should focus on in 2024 free agency. If the Packers want to make a signing in this area, they'll need to act quickly in free agency because the depth isn't there this year. It'll become clearer at this position once the franchise tags get sorted out, but there isn't a lot of talent to elevate Green Bay in 2024.
Potential Targets: Christian Wilkins, D.J. Reader
Defensive End
It's no secret that teams who get to the quarterback find success. The Packers were a middle-of-the-road team trying to get to the quarterback in 2023. If they want to take a step forward in 2024, adding in free agency will only benefit this group. The good news for the Packers is that a relatively deep group of edge rushers are available in free agency. This should help Green Bay as they try to add talent to the position.
Potential Targets: Za'Darius Smith, Bryce Huff
