Vikings vs. Rams Betting Guide
Best Bets | Anytime TD | Matchup Page Top Player Props: Rams | Vikings Most Bet: Anytime TD | 1st TD | Props
Leg 1: Justin Jefferson 6+ Receptions
The Vikings took a gut punch on Sunday Night Football as the offense stalled, and the defense showed no life as they failed to clinch the NFC North and the NFC’s No. 1 seed, putting them in a challenging road game against the Rams. I expect more from Sam Darnold and the Vikings’ passing offense on Monday night. We’ll kick off our parlay by looking for Justin Jefferson to be a significant factor. He’s made at least six catches in 12 of his last 15 games and eight earlier this season against the Rams. I’ll expect nothing to change.
Leg 2: Jordan Addison 50+ Receiving Yards
Jordan Addison grew into a more productive offensive weapon as the season progressed. He recorded at least 50 receiving yards in six of the final eight regular season games. I expect many points on both sides of the ball, and I’ll look for the Vikings to utilize Addison as a deep threat more than they did across the final few games. I’m counting on at least one big 30+ yard reception, and beyond that, we’ll only need about two more catches to reach the 50-yard mark.
Leg 3: Aaron Jones 2+ Receptions
Aaron Jones has made at least two catches in 15 of 17 games this season. I expect Kevin O’Connell to draw up a few short, easy receptions to get Darnold back into a groove after last week’s disaster. That’s good enough for me!
Legs 4 & 5: Kyren Williams 60+ Rushing Yards, 2+ Receptions
Kyren Williams recorded at least 60 rushing yards in 13 of his last 14 games, with the lone exception being a 56-yard game where he just carried the ball 13 times. In a typical game script, he should surpass the 60-yard mark relatively easily and add to his production. We’ll look for him to make two catches, as he made a season-high five receptions against the Vikings earlier this season.
Leg 6: Puka Nacua 80+ Receiving Yards
Puka Nacua has emerged as the top option for Matthew Stafford and left no doubt in the process. While his season has been tainted by injuries and inconsistent efforts, when the Rams’ are operating at full strength and moving the football effortlessly, Nacua racks up the catches and targets. I’m expecting them to pour it on against the Vikings, and earlier this season against them, Nacua finished with 106 yards. We’re counting on him to exceed 80 yards, which he’s done in six of his last eight games.
Leg 7: Tyler Higbee 2+ Receptions
People often forget about Tyler Higbee, as he just returned from an ACL injury suffered in the Rams playoff game last year. However, he’s always been a factor in the offense when he’s on the field. With people unaware of his presence, we’re getting a solid price on him to make at least two catches. We’re full of confidence as he made five catches in Week 17 before resting in the regular season finale. Let’s ride!
