Justin Jefferson Over 89.5 Receiving Yards
It's been an all-or-nothing kind of season for Justin Jefferson. Thankfully for Vikings fans, we anticipate more of the former in the Wild Card Round.
Jefferson was contained by the Detroit Lions in Week 18, ending a dominant streak in which he totaled 309 receiving yards and 25 receptions in the three preceding games. More impressively, he hit double-digit targets in each one of those contests, representing a 32.2% target share.
Jefferson isn't as bad as he showed last week. He should find success against an inferior Rams' secondary and eclipse 89.5 receiving yards.

Sam Darnold Under 264.5 Passing Yards
This was Sam Darnold's year. After falling out of favor with three other teams, Darnold's NFL career looked like it was over. Then, the Minnesota Vikings' needed a veteran presence to mentor their future franchise cornerstone, bringing on Darnold as a fringe starter. He's made the most of his opportunity, but Darnold's passing prop appears just out of reach against the Los Angeles Rams.
The former third-overall pick has been proficient this season, but not to the extent his passing prop would suggest. Darnold averages 254.1 passing yards per game but has fallen below that benchmark in four of his past six. Moreover, over the past four games, he's produced a deteriorating completion percentage. Darnold's completing just 61.0% of his passes over that stretch, over five points below his season-long mark of 66.2%.
This total is too high for our liking. We're taking a stance on Darnold falling under 264.5 passing yards.
Jordan Addison Over 58.5 Receiving Yards
Jordan Addison has cemented his place as one of the premier players on offense for the Vikings. The second-year wide-out had a tremendous end to the regular season, carrying the momentum into a first-round clash versus the Rams.
Addison has quickly moved to the front of Sam Darnold's progression charts. The 22-year-old has been a primary target over the season's final few weeks. Since Week 14, he's totaled 300 receiving yards on 27 receptions and 43 targets.
While he's coming off a disastrous performance, Addison is a natural progression candidate at the outset of the playoffs. He'll be a focus on offense and should have no problem surpassing 58.5 receiving yards versus LA.

Aaron Jones Under 59.5 Rushing Yards
At the start of the season, Aaron Jones was the primary running back of the Vikings' offense. But diminishing production curtailed his workload, resulting in a more equal share with Cam Akers. That downward trajectory hampers his outlook in the playoffs, and we're betting he comes up short of 59.5 rushing yards at State Farm Stadium.
Jones has sputtered of late. The Vikings running back has totaled just 92 rushing yards on 22 carries over the last two weeks, paling in comparison to the 83 yards Akers has on just 12 carries.
While an illness could limit Akers's availability and effectiveness, it still isn't enough to push Jones over 59.5 rushing yards. The now 30-year-old is mustering 4.0 yards per carry over his last three, and we don't think he'll have the requisite workload to get him over his rushing total.

T.J. Hockenson Anytime Touchdown Scorer +220
This was a tough season for T.J. Hockenson. The Vikings tight end had to work his way back from an ACL injury, rejoining his team near the halfway point. By then, Darnold had already built chemistry with his receivers, limiting Hockenson's ceiling. Nevertheless, he remains a big red zone target and could finally break out of his touchdown slump against the Rams.
Hockenson has yet to record a touchdown this season. But we're betting he snaps out of that funk against the Rams. LA is notoriously bad at covering opposing tight ends. Last week, they gave up 63 yards on five receptions to Noah Fant. The week prior, Trey McBride torched LA for 12 receptions and 123 yards. The common threads between both performances were that both led their respective teams in receiving yards and found the endzone.
Hockenson will become the latest tight end to beat the Rams and is the premier value pick to score.
