TE: Hunter Henry - New England Patriots (10.3% rostered)
Hunter Henry, who is available in nearly 90 percent of fantasy leagues, was the second-highest scorer at the position in Week 2, telling you all you need to know about the state of tight end in the NFL right now. Henry has become an integral component of the New England aerial attack with Brissett under center, and he is a priority add for those seeking a mainstay at the position on their roster going forward.

QB: Derek Carr - New Orleans Saints (9.9% rostered on ESPN)
Derek Carr's resurgence in Klint Kubiak's system makes him a priority target on the waiver wire ahead of Week 3. He leads all quarterbacks in the NFL in passer rating and is on pace to put up video game numbers this season. The cast around him is explosive, and they have gotten it done against some solid defenses to start the year. He's an excellent option for a team dealing with an early injury to their quarterback.
RB: Carson Steele/Samaje Perine - Kansas City Chiefs (1.9%/3.7% rostered)
We have chosen to pair Carson Steele and Samaje Perine together because knowing who will get the bulk of the work here is challenging. If you think you have an edge there, get your guy by all means. Our concern is that these two simply vulture each other's value. If Steele takes most of the run game and Perine takes the passing game, there may not be enough for both to be fantasy-viable within the offense.
RB: Ty Chandler - Minnesota Vikings (46.6% rostered)
Ty Chandler is barely available in half of ESPN fantasy leagues, and if he is in yours, he needs to be scooped up. He received more carries than Jones in Week 2 and could continue to eat into the workload after Jones's costly goal-line fumble on Sunday. Add in Jones's history of injury concerns and his older age, and Chandler becomes an attractive handcuff with current and potential breakout values if anything were to happen to the lead back.
WR: Jordan Whittington - Los Angeles Rams (1.3% rostered)
This isn't a popular choice in fantasy circles, but Jordan Whittington is our top wide receiver add this week. The rookie was one of the best receivers in the NFL throughout the preseason and possesses the highest ceiling among the remaining healthy options in the Rams passing game. If anything other than first holds zero value to you in your fantasy leagues, the ceiling Whittington provides is invaluable compared to veterans DeMarcus Robinson and Tyler Johnson.
WR: Jauan Jennings - San Francisco 49ers (1.5% rostered)
With the injury to Deebo Samuel, it's up to Jauan Jennings to step up alongside Brandon Aiyuk in the passing game for the 49ers. After his elite performance in Super Bowl LVIII, it's clear that Kyle Shanahan trusts Jennings to be a vital part of this offense moving forward. Until Ricky Pearsall returns from his gunshot injury, plenty of snaps will be available for Jennings to become a viable flex start in fantasy.
WR: Devaughn Vele - Denver Broncos (0.7% rostered)
We peddled Devaughn Vele to you last week and will do so again this week. The pessimist would say that the passing offense in Denver is as bleak as anywhere in the league, but the optimist would see that as an opportunity for Vele to climb the depth chart. He hauled in all eight of his targets in Week 1 and was sidelined with a rib injury this past Sunday. Stash him for now, and don't be surprised when he emerges as a legitimate contributor to this offense once he gets healthy.
