4 Nations Face-Off Format and Rules

The 4 Nations Face-Off will follow standard NHL rules, with each team competing in three Round Robin games. Points will be awarded as follows: 3 points for a regulation win, 2 points for an overtime or shootout win, 1 point for an overtime or shootout loss, and no points for a regulation loss. After the Round Robin stage, the two teams with the highest point totals will move on to a winner-takes-all Championship Game to determine the tournament champion.
