The Indiana Fever (7-7) up-and-down season continues tonight as they look to go above .500 when they welcome in the struggling Los Angeles Sparks (4-11). Indiana is coming off a big road win against the Seattle Storm on Tuesday, while LA dropped its fourth straight two nights ago, visiting the Chicago Sky. Tonight’s battle between the 8th- and 11th-place WNBA teams takes place at 7:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime Video.

Is Caitlin Clark Playing Today?

Caitlin Clark will miss another game on Thursday night as she continues to deal with a left groin injury. The reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year already missed five games with a left quad strain earlier this season. It’s not clear at this point if the two issues are related. 

Clark sits 11th in the WNBA scoring race, putting up 18.2 points per game. She is also tied with Alyssa Thomas for the most assists in the league, dishing out 8.9 a night.

It remains to be seen if Clark will be able to suit up for tomorrow night’s highly anticipated matchup with the Dallas Wings. The Wings feature another ultra-popular player to rival Clark, in Paige Bueckers. Groin issues are usually pretty tricky, so even though tonight is the first leg of a home-road back-to-back, Clark’s injury may require more attention than just getting some extra rest ahead of games in consecutive nights.
