Create Turnovers, Win the Game
If the Steeler's defense does its job and creates pressure on Jordan Love, it won't be a surprise to see them come away with multiple turnovers in Week 10. T.J. Watt and Alex Highsmith are an elite pass-rush duo, which should give Love nightmares heading into this contest. Minkah Fitzpatrick has yet to practice this week, and that continues to hurt the Steeler's secondary, but we also like what we've seen from rookie corner Joey Porter Jr. Don't be surprised if he has his second career interception against Love and the Packers.
Mike Tomlin Outcoaches Matt LaFleur
Mike Tomlin has been an exceptional head coach with the Pittsburgh Steelers. This franchise gets it right with their head coaches, and Tomlin was no different. If you've watched every Steelers game this season, you'd likely come away wondering how the team boasts a 5-3 record. Mike Tomlin is a big reason for that. The Steelers have an advantage in the coaching department on Sunday afternoon, and they need to use that to their advantage.
Run the Football
In Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans, the Pittsburgh Steelers finally got back to their bread and butter on offense, which is running the football effectively. Jaylen Warren and Najee Harris present two very different change-of-pace backs, with Warren being the more explosive of the two. The Steelers' offensive line looked as strong as they have all season in Week 9. If they continue making progress in Week 10 against Green Bay, we like their chances.
Pressure Jordan Love
For most of 2023, Green Bay Packers quarterback Jordan Love has struggled to manage games. The Steelers' defense has an elite pass rush, and Love is going to have to get the football out quickly on Sunday. That screams mistakes in our eyes, largely because Love has had his fair share already this season. The Packers love to run the football, but there will be times when Love has to use his arm, and we like for the Steelers to take advantage of that.
George Pickens and Diontae Johnson are Both Involved
It's hardly a secret that Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver George Pickens was unhappy with his workload in Week 9 against the Tennessee Titans. Pickens has been a big play wideout for Pittsburgh this year, and they know that keeping him happy is a priority, especially with their overall struggles on offense. Still, Diontae Johnson found the endzone last week and is great in the slot. Pittsburgh has to effectively use both of these wide receivers to create plays on offense. Look for Pickens to get some deep shots early on.
