Ranking the Heisman Trophy Finalists for the 2024 NFL Draft
Host · Writer
1. Marvin Harrison Jr. - Ohio State Buckeyes
It's quite simple. If Marvin Harrison Jr. decides to declare for the draft, he is the first Heisman finalist off the board. The son of a Hall of Famer and Peyton Manning's former favorite target, Jr., will certainly go higher than his pops did at No. 19 in 1996. The Ohio State wideout led the Big Ten in receiving yards and finished second in the nation with 14 touchdown catches. Harrison would have an immediate impact in the NFL next season.
4. Bo Nix - Oregon Ducks
Before Bo Nix lost to Michael Penix's Huskies in this year's Pac-12 Championship, it looked like a win over Washington and the Heisman would be his. That didn't happen, and that's the reason he ranks slightly behind his Pacific Northwest rival. Nix had a tremendous senior season, second in the nation with almost 4,200 passing yards, and should be a late first or early second-rounder in 2024.
3. Michael Penix Jr. - Washington Huskies
While Michael Penix Jr. likely won't win the Heisman, he will be on an NFL squad next season. The talented senior likely goes late first or early second round after Caleb Williams, Drake Maye, Jayden Daniels and JJ McCarthy are taken in the opening round. Penix has put together back-to-back monster seasons in Washington and his future looks bright, learning from a vet as the NFL season begins.
2. Jayden Daniels - LSU Tigers
Jayden Daniels likely parlays a Heisman trophy into a top-ten pick. He could replace Baker Mayfield in Tampa or could fall to the Seattle Seahawks. Daniels was ultra-efficient with the Tigers this year and is always a threat with his legs.
