Dodgers vs Mets Game 4 Prediction | NLCS Picks Today, Best Bets

Game 4 of the National League Championship Series, featuring the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets, is set for tonight in Queens, so we’ve put together our top props and best bets for the action.

Yoshinobu Yamamoto 5+ Strikeouts (+146)

Yoshinobu Yamamoto has made two postseason starts thus far, but he’s combined for just three strikeouts across eight innings of work. I’m not too worried about those low strikeout numbers, though, as the San Diego Padres sported one of the lowest strikeout rates in baseball this season, but in his lone game against the Mets this season, he struck out nine across six innings. Last night, Walker Buehler struck out six batters across just four innings, so I can’t turn down the fact that I’m getting +146 for Yamamoto to strike out at least five tonight. Yamamoto is a strikeout guy, so he should have no issues reaching this line if he is kept in the game long enough.

Dodgers Total Runs OVER 4.5 (+130)

This Dodgers’ offense is clicking on all cylinders right now, and I’m not worried about Jose Quintana as the Mets’ starting pitcher tonight in the slightest. The Dodgers have averaged nearly seven runs per game this series and can never be offensively counted out of a game. At +130, getting them to score at least five runs against a mediocre pitching staff after already scoring at least five runs in five of eight postseason games thus far is a must-bet for me. Ride with the talent!

Shohei Ohtani 2+ Total Bases (-110)

If we expect the Dodgers’ bats to give us at least five runs, we should double up and tout Shohei Ohtani to record at least two total bases. After starting the postseason a bit slow at the plate, he launched a towering home run late in last night’s game, which he needed to boost his confidence. Jose Quintana isn’t necessarily the ideal matchup for Shohei as a left-handed pitcher, but sometimes, you must trust the talent. He’ll want to carry over that momentum he rebuilt last night the rest of the way, and I have the confidence in him that he can do so. How often do we see him priced at -110 to record two total bases?

Tommy Edman 1+ RBI (+210)

We touted Tommy Edman to get us an RBI last night, and he cashed in for us at a sweet +230 price, so we have no issues returning to him at +210 tonight as we’re all in on the Dodgers’ bats. He’s recorded an RBI in four of the last five games and has arguably been the Dodgers’ most consistent hitter this postseason. If it isn’t broken, why change it up?

Francisco Lindor 2+ Total Bases (+115)

On the Mets’ side, I refuse to believe Francisco Lindor, in particular, will go down without a fight, so we’ll look for him to give us at least two total bases at a +115 price. He owns just a .211 batting average this postseason, but in the five games where he has had a hit, he’s also had at least two total bases. At +115, let’s ride!
