Best MLB Strikeout Props for Today (8/27)

Chasing K’s? SportsGrid has you covered with our top strikeout props across today’s MLB slate.

Here are the best arms to target:

Note: All odds and props are courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook and are subject to change after the publication of this article.

1. HOU Framber Valdez UNDER 6.5 Strikeouts (+116) vs. Colorado Rockies

Valdez has been struggling mightily, giving up 19 earned runs over his last four starts (22.2 IP) while recording just 12 strikeouts. His command has wavered, and the swing-and-miss stuff isn’t there right now. Even against the league-worst Rockies, it’s difficult to have much faith in the lefty given his current form. I’ll gladly jump on this prop at plus money.

2. MIL Quinn Priester OVER 4.5 Strikeouts (-106) vs. Arizona Diamondbacks

Priester has averaged 4.8 Ks per game across his last eight outings. The right-hander draws a favorable matchup against a Diamondbacks lineup that’s been swinging and missing at a high rate, striking out the second-most times as a team (129) over the last 15 days. On the road, Arizona’s strikeout numbers climb to 8.70 per game (compared to 7.48 at home). Priester has also been tough to square up at home, holding opponents to a .232 average with a 1.21 WHIP over 10 appearances. This sets up well for him to clear the modest 4.5 strikeout line.
