MLB Betting Guide for July 5: Yankees Most Important Weekend Yet?

All 30 MLB teams are in action today, setting up for an epic weekend of baseball around the majors. We have everything you need to know, so let’s dive into it all!

Kicking off the night slate, Paul Skenes will take the ball for the Pittsburgh Pirates as they’re in Queens to take on the improving New York Mets. Plus, Sonny Gray will start for an under-appreciated St. Louis Cardinals squad as they face the Washington Nationals.

We’ll also have our eyes on a couple of epic divisional battles. First, we’ll head to the Bronx as the struggling New York Yankees welcome the Boston Red Sox to town, as the Yankees are desperate for some spark. As the Red Sox continue to climb the AL standings, this may be the Yankees’ most important series of the season thus far. An embarrassing weekend against their arch-rival would be catastrophic in that locker room.

We can’t forget about the NL East, as the Atlanta Braves will host the short-handed Philadelphia Phillies, so we worked up a +1000 ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

Later, we’ll check out a fun matchup out west: the San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks will square off alongside a strong matchup between two of the NL’s top squads: the Los Angeles Dodgers and Milwaukee Brewers.
