Kicking off the day, we have a doubleheader with the San Diego Padres remaining on the East Coast to face the Atlanta Braves. Later, Francisco Lindor makes his long-awaited return to Cleveland, where his New York Mets will battle the Cleveland Guardians. The Mets currently look like a dumpster fire, while the Guardians have the second-most wins in the AL, so could a homecoming be enough to shift the result of a game that the Guardians should control?

Plus, we’ll check out the Minnesota Twins, who are amidst a six-game losing streak. They’ll be on the road to face the Washington Nationals, who have been more competitive than most people want to admit but also find themselves on a five-game skid. In a battle of losers, who will pull through?

Additionally, we have to point out the surging New York Yankees, who will carry a seven-game win streak into their series with the sound Seattle Mariners. Everything is going right in the Bronx, so it will be interesting to see how they do against the Mariners’ impressive pitching staff.

To close out the night, the Houston Astros have won nine of their last eleven games entering their series tonight with the Los Angeles Angels. Finally, the constantly dominant Los Angeles Dodgers will face the Arizona Diamondbacks.
