Leg 1: Phillies ML

The Dodgers are the Dodgers, but the Phillies have been the all-around better team this season when healthy. Tonight, Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber are slated to return to the lineup after their stints on the Injured List. As a bonus, Zack Wheeler will be on the mound. Los Angeles will throw Bobby Miller out there, and he’s no match for what Wheeler brings. The ballpark will be jumping, so we trust the home team can get it done.

Leg 2: Bryce Harper 2+ Total Bases

Bryce Harper returns to the lineup, and you expect he will be a no-show? We know how Bryce is: he rides the momentum and rises to the occasion when it matters most. Returning from his injury at home against their main competitor to reach the World Series will bring the best out of Harper. We’ll eye him to get us two hits or one for extra bases.

Leg 3: Trea Turner 2+ Total Bases

Amid the Phillies’ absences, Trea Turner has stepped up significantly. He’s recorded at least two total bases in seven of his last eleven games. Miller has struggled on the road this season, so we’ll look for Turner to benefit.

Leg 4: Nick Castellanos 1+ Hit

Nick Castellanos has had a hit in 16 of his last 19 games, and he’s batting .275 at home compared to just .199 on the road. That’s good enough for me!

Leg 5: Freddie Freeman 1+ Hit

Freddie Freeman has been batting .330 since the start of June. He also has a .412 batting average across 67 plate appearances against Wheeler in his career. Not many bat .300 against Wheeler, let alone .400. We’ll trust that Freeman can find a way to get us a hit.

Leg 6: Teoscar Hernandez 1+ Hit

We’ll target Teoscar Hernandez to get us a hit to close out our parlay, as he has done in six consecutive games. Plus, in limited exposure, he’s gone 3-8 against Wheeler in his career. We’re getting a reasonable price on him, and we trust the All-Star can get it done.
