MLB SGP: +800 Atlanta Braves @ Arizona Diamondbacks

We have a strong matchup out west tonight as the Arizona Diamondbacks will host the Atlanta Braves in National League action, so we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay.

Valued at +800, let’s ride!

Swing for the Fences with SportsGrid’s free daily MLB Game Picks and MLB Prop Picks.

Leg 1: Braves ML

The Braves have their ace on the mound in Chris Sale and will get to face Yilber Diaz of the Diamondbacks, who is making his MLB debut tonight. We’ll fade a rookie making his first career start against an elite offense any day of the week. We’ll confidently back the Braves offense and Sale to get it done.

Leg 2: Chris Sale 6+ Strikeouts

Chris Sale has struck out at least six batters in 15 of his 16 starts this season. Meanwhile, The Diamondbacks have struck out as a team at the sixth-lowest mark in all of baseball this season. Still, Sale is no ordinary opponent. He’s proved enough this season to believe he can strike out at least six against anyone.

Leg 3: Austin Riley 2+ Total Bases

Austin Riley has recorded at least two total bases in five of six games thus far in July. He has performed much better against right-handed pitching, so we’ll trust that he can give Diaz a “welcome to the MLB" moment.

Leg 4: Ozzie Albies 1+ Hit

Ozzie Albies has punched in at least a single hit in nine of his last ten games. We’re confident he can get a hit against an unproven rookie.

Leg 5: Lourdes Gurriel 1+ Hit

We know Sale is not an ordinary lefty, but Lourdes Gurriel is hitting .357 against left-handed pitching this season and has recorded a hit in 14 of his last 16 games. We’ll keep it as simple as that.

Leg 6: Ketel Marte 1+ Hit

Ketel Marte has done well against left-handed pitching, sporting a .333 batting average on the season against lefties. He didn’t play Sunday due to injury, but we expect him to be back on the diamond tonight.
