We have a critical matchup tonight in Queens. The New York Mets are set to host the Boston Red Sox, and both squads look to push for the postseason in their respective leagues. This prompted us to work up an ultimate same-game parlay for the action.
Valued at +850, let’s ride!
Leg 1: Mets ML
The New York Mets are rolling right now amidst a five-game winning streak, and they enter tonight with one of their more reliable pitchers on the mound, David Peterson, who had a 1.86 ERA across six August starts. Across his last 15 starts, the Mets are 13-2 when he pitches, and we’re not too confident in Kutter Crawford on the other side, who has a 7.24 ERA across his last seven starts. We’ll gladly back the home team here with the hotter offense, better pitcher, and home-field advantage.
Leg 2: Francisco Lindor 2+ Total Bases
Francisco Lindor is doing everything he can to play his way into the NL MVP conversation, and while his efforts will likely not be enough, we’ll gladly back him every chance we get, as he’s crushing right now. He’s recorded at least two total bases in 10 of his last 13 games, so we’ll look for the best player on the field to take advantage of a struggling pitcher.
Leg 3: Mark Vientos 1+ Hit
We’ll keep this leg simple as Mark Vientos has recorded a hit in 15 of his last 18 games and now gets the opportunity to face a struggling pitcher. We need an all-hands-on-deck type of night from these Mets, so we’ll count on Vientos to be a part of that.

Leg 4: Jose Iglesias 1+ Hit
Jose Iglesias has been nothing short of a pure hitter this season, and he owns a .394 batting average at Citi Field. What else is there to ask for?
Leg 5: Jarren Duran 1+ Hit
On Boston’s side, we can’t go wrong by backing Jarren Duran, who has been the Red Sox’s most consistent hitter all season and is coming in tonight, having recorded a hit in seven of his last eight games.
