Magic vs Celtics: Derrick White OVER 18.5 Points +138
- Derrick White was the driving force behind the Celtics’ dominant win in Game 1, finishing with 30 points on 10/18 shooting from field goal range and seven threes.
- With Jayson Tatum listed as doubtful for Wednesday night, Joe Mazzulla’s squad will have to run their offense through somebody else. In past games where Tatum sits, the C’s tend to give White an increased role as a primary ball-handler.
- Mazzulla has been very vocal about how important and aggressive White is for their team. With an increased confidence coming fresh off Sunday’s 30-point performance, I expect the two-way guard to come out firing again tonight.
Heat vs Cavaliers: Ty Jerome to Score 15+ Points +180
- Ty Jerome has blossomed into one of the best bench players in the league this season, averaging 12.5 points, 3.4 assists, and 2.5 rebounds.
- The Virginia product has stepped up when his team needs him in timely moments all season, including a 28-point performance in Game 1 to fend off the Heat’s late surge.
- Jerome has scored 15+ points in each of his last five games, which alone gives me faith that he’ll continue the streak tonight.
Warriors vs Rockets: Jimmy Butler Over 23.5 Points +106
- Like every season, Jimmy Butler III coasted throughout the regular season, taking a break from scoring and taking on the challenge of doing the dirty work. However, there’s no doubt that “Playoff Jimmy" will always be a thing, and he continues to prove that.
- In Sunday’s upset win to steal home court from the Rockets, Butler finished with 25 points, seven rebounds, and six assists. Ime Udoka’s focus on limiting Stephen Curry opens up more opportunities for the Warriors’ latest addition to take over on offense.
- Butler has scored 24+ points in each of his last five games.
