Nuggets vs Thunder Prediction, Props, and Best Bets NBA Game 2

The Denver Nuggets are set for a Wednesday night showdown with the Oklahoma City Thunder. Denver stunned the Thunder in Game 1 with a go-ahead three from Aaron Gordon to steal homecourt advantage in this series. Following OKC’s first postseason loss of the year, it will be interesting to see how they respond against an experienced team like the Nuggets. Regardless, the Thunder must avoid trailing 2-0 before heading to the Mile High City. That said, expect a dogfight in this matchup.

Nuggets vs Thunder Best Bet: Nuggets +10.5
The Nuggets proved they have the firepower to keep up in this series. They went further and showed they could win this series with their impressive win on the road Monday. Whether they can steal another win tonight is still up in the air, but I have faith that regardless of who comes out on top, the margin of victory will be settled by less than 10 points.
Nuggets vs Thunder Best Total Bet: Under 230
These squads have the offensive firepower to turn any game into a shootout. On Monday, the final score of 121-119 merely allowed them to meet the 230-point total. With adjustments to be made, I expect the total score of this matchup to come in just a bit under the set total. A final score of 116-109 seems realistic for this matchup.

Nuggets Best Player Bet: Russell Westbrook 15+ Points +168
Russell Westbrook began his career in Oklahoma City and he showed in Game 1 that he’s still more than comfortable to play in front of the fans he started his journey in front of. The veteran guard finished with 18 points in his last game, and he has a shot to put together another big performance on Wednesday as he continues to prove his importance to the Nuggets. Considering Westbrook has scored 15+ points in back-to-back games and three of his last four, I have faith he can do it again in this battle.
Thunder Best Player Bet: Alex Caruso to Score 10+ Points +136
Like Westbrook, Alex Caruso is making his presence known off the bench for the Thunder. The two-way guard put together a big game for OKC on Monday, finishing with 20 points, including five threes. Following that performance, it marks three times in the past four games that he’s scored in double figures. Assuming he stays aggressive tonight, Caruso has a shot to have another solid scoring night.
