Rockets vs. Warriors Prediction, Props, and Best Bets NBA Game 6

The Houston Rockets are set for a showdown with the Golden State Warriors on Friday night. Houston made a statement with their backs against the wall in Wednesday’s dominant win. Now, they hope to prove they can do it again and force a Game 7 back on their home floor. However, the Warriors will look to avoid blowing a 3-1 lead on Friday with a chance to close this series out in front of their home fans.

Rockets vs. Warriors Best Bet: Rockets ML +184
Houston enters this game in yet another do-or-die situation. Any mistake could be the difference between them extending their season by one game, or being eliminated and getting an early start on their offseason. Considering Ime Udoka’s squad responded well to the circumstances on Wednesday night, it wouldn’t be a shock to see them defy the odds once again on Friday. That said, I have faith the Rockets can force a Game 7 with a win tonight.

Rockets vs. Warriors Best Total Bet: Over 206.5
On Wednesday, both teams showed that scoring is the least of their worries. This series switched from a defensive chess match to a showdown between two high-powered offenses. With each of the last two games exceeding the 206.5-point total, it should be more than doable for these two squads to surpass the set total once again. A final score of 114-108 seems like a realistic outcome in this matchup.
Rockets Best Player Bet: Fred VanVleet 20+ Points +240
Fred VanVleet took a step back on offense this season averaging 14.1 points, but over the last couple of games, the veteran guard has shown exactly why the Rockets signed him in free agency. The Wichita State product has scored 25+ points in each of his last two games. If he continues to shoot with the confidence he’s shown over the last two battles, scoring 20+ points should be more than achievable.
Warriors Best Player Bet: Jimmy Butler OVER 22.5 Points +104
The entire Warriors offense struggled on Wednesday, but none more so than Jimmy Butler III. The Warriors guard shot 2-for-10 from the field and finished with eight points. With the Rockets making it a priority to limit Stephen Curry, Golden State will need someone to step up if they hope to avoid being steamrolled like they were in their last matchup. With two games with 25+ points on the series, I have confidence that Butler can bounce back in tonight’s matchup and finish with 23+ points.
