Week 15 - Boise State Broncos 31 - UNLV Rebels 30
In the final hurdle to the 2024 campaign, the Broncos will have to get past the Rebels one more time to claim the MWC title. Another wildly entertaining contest is on tap, with the Broncos prevailing dramatically.
Boise State knocks off the Rebels in the Mountain West Championship Game for the second straight year. In doing so, they give the playoff committee plenty to bandy about in deciding which Group of Five powerhouse is included in the 12-team field. The more lopsided the score, the better the Broncos' chances are.

Week 9 - Boise State Broncos 24 - UNLV Rebels 27
Inarguably, the Boise State Broncos' biggest challenge comes in Week 9's tilt versus the UNLV Rebels. A rematch of last year's Mountain West Championship Game, the winner of Friday's tilt all but guarantees themselves a berth in this year's title bout. Unfortunately for the Broncos, we expect the Rebels to exact revenge for last year's loss.
A quarterback change halfway through the season did nothing to slow down the Rebels. In the four games since Hajj-Malik Williams took over, UNLV averages 47.8 points per game, recording no fewer than 33 points in any of those contests.
Boise State's offense can match that energy, but they'll face an uphill battle playing at Allegiant Stadium. Rebels pull off the stunning upset, potentially ending Boise State's playoff bid.

Week 10 - San Diego State Aztecs 10 - Boise State Broncos 35
Despite massive investments in their football program, the San Diego Aztecs have failed to reach their expected heights under Sean Lewis. The Aztecs are fighting to stay bowl-game eligible, but Week 10's contest against the Broncos points them in the wrong direction.
San Diego State operates a one-dimensional offense and does so poorly. That should allow Boise State to stack up against the pass and prevent the Aztecs from any meaningful gains.
Ashton Jeanty will have himself a day, maintaining his hefty workload and allowing Boise State to run out the clock in a one-sided affair.
Week 11 - Nevada Wolf Pack 6 - Boise State Broncos 42
Back-to-back home games against inferior programs will allow Boise State to build confidence ahead of a pivotal Week 12 road game. The Nevada Wolf Pack will be nothing more than a blip on the radar with the Broncos marching to another convincing win.
Week 12 - Boise State Broncos 35 - San Jose State Spartans 31
Expect some fireworks at CEFCU Stadium in Week 12. Behind a rowdy home crowd, the upstart San Jose State Spartans will be happy to trade offensive blows with the Broncos. However, that will ultimately be their undoing, with Boise State pulling off a thrilling win.
San Jose State's offensive prowess isn't a characteristic shared by its defense. The Spartans have been hemorrhaging yards lately, allowing their last three opponents to average 412.3. Boise State will add to those woes, trotting out its usual run-and-gun schemes to escape San Jose with the win.
Week 13 - Boise State Broncos 28 - Wyoming Cowboys 14
While the Broncos should walk away victorious in Week 13, their matchup against the Wyoming Cowboys does set up as a bit of a flat spot. Coming off a presumptive closer-than-anticipated bout, and with the Oregon State Beavers awaiting them next week, the Broncos could have difficulty getting up for this MWC clash.
Nevertheless, the Cowboys don't possess the offensive or defensive faculties to de-rail the Broncos' campaign. The weather could inhibit both teams, ultimately playing into Boise State's strength with their ground game.
The Broncos win, but it may be too close for comfort.
Week 14 - Oregon State Beavers 20 - Boise State Broncos 34
With a spot in the Mountain West Championship game locked up, there will be no pressure on the Broncos to perform in this non-conference tilt versus the Oregon State Beavers. Oregon State has struggled against mediocre teams, a reputation they won't buck against a superior Broncos team.
Boise State's seniors will be ready for one last magical Friday on the blue turf. Even though it's scheduled for an early kick-off, the Broncos end their regular season with a convincing win at Albertsons Stadium.
