Matayo Uiagalelei, Edge
Matayo Uiagalelei is the other half of what should be a destructive pass rush. As a sophomore, he made 12.5 tackles for loss and 10.5 sacks. Now, he is a junior, and those numbers could put him into the conversation for defensive player of the year in the Big Ten.

Oregon is Looking to Retool for a 2025 College Football Playoff Run
The Oregon Ducks went 13-0, won the Big Ten, and earned the top seed in the College Football Playoff in 2024. Then, Ohio State blew them out in the quarterfinals. A once-promising season ended in disappointment again. Oregon has to retool at many essential positions to make a run at the 2025 CFP.
Evan Stewart, Wide Receiver
Evan Stewart is the Ducks’ leading returning pass catcher. After transferring from Texas A&M, Stewart had a nice year for Oregon, making 48 catches for 613 yards and five touchdowns. Stewart must fill the shoes of the departed Tez Johnson. He has the tools to be the next great Oregon wideout.
Evan Stewart 2025 Heisman Odds: +20000
Bryce Boettcher, Linebacker
Oregon’s leading tackler from 2024 is back for 2025. Bryce Boettcher made 94 tackles, including eight for a loss. He’s the leader of the defense and helps give Oregon a formidable front seven.
Oregon’s 2025 National Championship Odds: +650
Dante Moore, Quarterback
The biggest question for the Ducks heading into the 2025 season is who will take over for Dillon Gabriel. The early hope is that Dante Moore will step up, but he doesn’t have much experience. Moore will be a junior in 2025 and came over from UCLA before last season. He has played in 14 career games and has thrown for over 1,400 yards. He is not the running threat Gabriel was.
Dante Moore 2025 Heisman Odds: +1200
Noah Whittington, Running Back
Oregon will look for Noah Whittington to step into the starting role after running for 540 yards and six scores in 2024. He only ran the ball 118 times last season, which will increase as the quarterback run will not be as prevalent.
Oregon’s 2025 Big Ten Championship Odds: +230
Teitum Tuioti, Edge
Edge rusher Teitum Tuioti is part of a defensive line that should be very disruptive. Tuioli had 5.5 sacks and 7.5 tackles for loss last season, which was good enough for All-Big Ten Honorable Mention. He will move into a more prominent role and could elevate higher on the All-Big Ten lists.
Oregon’s 2025 Win Total 10.5 (Over -113/Under -113)
Kenyon Sadiq, Tight End
Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq should be a more significant weapon for whoever plays quarterback. The 6’3”, 245-pound tight end made 24 catches for 308 yards and a couple touchdowns. Sadiq will step into the starting role vacated by Terrance Ferguson, who made 43 catches in 2024.
Iapani Laloulu, OL
Protecting Dante Moore is a top priority, and the Ducks have an All-Big Ten center in Iapani Laloulu to help a transitioning offensive line. The junior will have to help give Moore time to run the offense.
A’Mauri Washington, DL
A’Mauri Washington may be the next great interior defensive lineman for Oregon. The 320-pound junior is a run stuffer and can blow up plays before they start. In a reserve role in 2024, Washington made ten tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, had two pass breakups, and four quarterback hurries.
Jahlil Florence, Cornerback
The Ducks' best corner did not play in 2024 due to injury, but Jahlil Florence is expected to be back in 2025. In 2023, Florence played in 11 games and made 27 tackles with an interception. Florence has not played in over a year, and the Ducks will need him to get back into game shape quickly.
