1. Colston Loveland - Michigan
The top tight end in the country heading into the 2024 season is Colston Loveland out of Michigan. Loveland had a dynamite season for the Wolverines and helped lead them to a national title last year. He showed what he could do in 2023, so what does he have in store for 2024?
2. Mitchell Evans - Notre Dame
Before getting injured, it was hard not to be impressed by what Mitchell Evans was doing at Notre Dame. Evans has a unique ability to find soft spots in defenses that play a lot of zone coverage, and that's helped make him a reliable receiving option when he's been on the field. Look for a big season from Evans in 2024.
3. Luke Lachey - Iowa
Luke Lachey is set to continue the trend of strong tight ends at Iowa. We know the Hawkeyes program's talented names have graduated to the NFL level, and we expect no different with Lachey's skillset.
4. Oscar Delp - Georgia
Georgia is starting to produce some high-quality tight ends, and Oscar Delp is another name to watch for leading into 2024. Although Brock Bowers overshadowed Delp, the talent is there for him to break out and be a very productive option in 2024.
5. Brant Kuithe - Utah
Brant Kuithe out of Utah is a tight end that we're very bullish on heading into 2024. Although he's dealt with injuries the last two seasons, Kuithe's talent is undeniable, and we've seen far too much potential when he's been healthy and on the field.
6. Benjamin Yurosek - Georgia
Benjamin Yurosek is headed to a more pristine environment with the Georgia Bulldogs in 2024 after spending time with the Stanford Cardinal. The potential continues to be there for Yurosek, but we're waiting on the breakout. Will it come with the 'dawgs in 2024?
7. Bryson Nesbit - North Carolina
Bryson Nesbit has excellent vision and is a strong run blocker, which are two coveted traits at his position. Even with his elite quarterback heading for the 2024 NFL Draft, Nesbit is still expected to be majorly relied upon as a receiving threat in 2024.
8. Oronde Gadsden II - Syracuse
Oronde Gadsden II is a strong route-runner and combines that with the ideal size and speed to make up a talented tight end. Although Gadsden was bitten by the injury bug in 2023, his 2022 campaign should make you bullish on what he'll accomplish moving forward.
9. Jack Velling - Michigan State
Jack Velling followed head coach Jonathan Smith from Oregon State to Michigan State. Velling secured eight receiving touchdowns in 2023, which led the nation. Big things are expected from him again in 2024.
10. Caden Prieskorn - Ole Miss
Caden Prieskorn continued to make headlines last season after transferring to Ole Miss. His play on the field highlighted why he was coveted in the portal, and he's not become a big part of how the team runs their offense.

11. Jake Johnson - North Carolina
After transferring from Texas A&M to North Carolina, Jake Johnson is expected to see an elevated role in the Tar Heels passing game. Johnson has the football IQ, size, and athleticism to be a strong weapon in 2024 for the Tar Heels.
12. Jaleel Skinner - Louisville
Jaleel Skinner has the speed, size, and vision to be a high quality tight end weapon for the Louisville Cardinals in 2024. If Skinner can stay on the field, he has all the tools necessary to put up big numbers.
13. Jake Briningstool - Clemson
Jake Briningstool might not have high-end speed, but he has strong athleticism and continues to find ways to make plays when called upon. There's more to his game than he's shown to this point, and 2024 has the potential to be a breakout spot for him.
14. Rivaldo Fairweather - Auburn
With his solid speed and big frame, Rivaldo Fairweather has the ability to make contested catches over the middle of the field, which is a key for tight ends. Fairweather has already proven to be a reliable red zone weapon for the Tigers.
15. Maliq Carr - Houston
Although run blocking isn't a strength at this time for Maliq Carr, he has the makings of a dominant receiving tight end. If he can find ways to make up the gaps in parts of his game, he's well on his way to being impactful in 2024.
16. Anthony Torres - Toledo
Anthony Torres is coming off a solid season at Toledo, which saw an uptick in overall production. Torres has the frame and strong hands needed to continue on a positive trajectory and continue bolstering his numbers.
17. Corey Dyches - Maryland
Corey Dyches is a solid threat to create plays after catch and be a productive receiving weapon. There's an expectation that he can take another step forward with his game and really cement himself as a top tight end.
18. Brandon Engel - Air Force
Although Brandon Engel doesn't have a monster frame, he's been a reliable blocker in a run-heavy offense. It's hard to say what his ceiling is, but he can impact a game in other ways that create value.
19. Mason Tharp - Texas Tech
Mason Tharp sticks out on the football field when you watch his tape. Although part of that stems from his red-zone production, Tharp's size separates him from other players at his position and creates a mismatch.
20. Jake Roberts - Oklahoma
After transferring from Baylor, Jake Roberts is looking to elevate his game for the Oklahoma Sooners in 2024. Roberts finished 2023 with 23 receptions for 231 yards and a touchdown. Roberts has the ability to double those numbers in this offense.
21. Bauer Sharp - Oklahoma
Another Oklahoma tight end that's looking to make an impact in 2024 is Bauer Sharp. The tools are certainly there for Sharp to really pop in the run game as a blocker, along with being a receiving threat. Sharp is one of our breakout candidates to keep an eye on in 2024.
22. Caleb Rillos - Florida
If the Florida Gators offense is going to take another step forward in 2024, it's going to come from the collective approach, and not just one individual. Caleb Rillos is a talented transfer tight end, who figures to see an uptick in targets in this offensive scheme.
23. Joshua Simon - South Carolina
With some new additions at South Carolina, Joshua Simon figures to play a strong role on offense for the Gamecocks. Simon registered 256 receiving yards in 2023, but we won't be surprised if that number doubles in 2024.
24. Gavin Bartholomew - Pittsburgh
Gavin Bartholomew is the type of tight end that will go to work and drag his teammates into the fight with him. It's easy to envision him playing an important role with his strong blocking ability in Pittsburgh's offense.
25. Jalin Conyers - Texas Tech
Jalin Conyers transferred to Texas Tech for his final year of collegiate eligibility. You want to see someone of his stature more involved in the red zone, which is something you have to figure the Red Raiders will focus on in 2024.
26. Michael Masunas - Michigan State
Although we continue to wait for a little more production from Michael Masunas, there's a lot that he does on offense that won't be recorded on the game sheet. If Michigan State wants their offense to take a leap, Masunas needs to be at the top of his game.
27. Max Klare - Purdue
The potential pass-catching upside for Max Klare in Purdue's offense this season is plentiful. Klare has the big frame, blocking ability, and hands to be a real threat in this Purdue scheme.
28. Kenny Fletcher - Rutgers
If we're going to see Rutgers improve this season on offense, they'll need Kenny Fletcher to perform and be productive. There's quite a bit to like about what Fletcher should be able to accomplish this season in the red zone.
29. Harold Fannin Jr. - Bowling Green
It's not a name you're going to jump at, but Harold Fannin Jr. has real upside in this Bowling Green offense. Fannin Jr. has a big frame, and should be one of the leading target earners for this program in 2024.
30. Terrance Ferguson - Oregon
Even with a talented receiving core in Oregon, it shouldn't be a surprise to see Terrance Ferguson get more work in 2024. Ferguson has real potential to be a target machine in this offense, especially in the red zone.

31. Victor Konopka - Rutgers
The numbers certainly won't pop for Victor Konopka early this season, but his overall role for Rutgers certainly does. Konopka is playing a role in the trenches, and even if the production doesn't come, his impact can't be understated.
32. Miles Kitselman - Tennessee
Although you're seeing Miles Kitselman more involved in the blocking game on offense, there's definitely some untapped potential with this tight end. His size and athleticism don't grow on trees, which should see his role expand as the year develops.
33. Tyler Warren - Penn State
If you're looking for a tight end that's boosting their stock this year, look no further. Tyler Warren is off to an electric start as a senior, and should continue to play a role as a top target earner in Penn State's offense.
34. Joe Royer - Cincinnati
Through two weeks, Joe Royer has been a big part of what the Cincinnati Bearcats are trying to accomplish on offense. His targets continue to increase, and there's a good case the numbers will also be on the rise moving forward.
35. Randy Pittman Jr. - UCF
There are a lot of quality tools that Randy Pittman Jr. brings to the table for the UCF Knights. We're waiting for him to get more involved in the offense, but he's got the skillset where it should only be a matter of time. Buy low on this player.
