2025 NFL Playoff Bracket: Predicting the NFC Winner

Philadelphia Eagles vs Detroit Lions
This is a coin flip to me. The Eagles and Lions both do certain things at an elite level. Can the Lions overcome their injuries on defense? Can the Eagles get back to the Super Bowl under Nick Sirianni? The Lions have shown the resiliency this year needed to get the job done. They remember what it felt like last year to blow a lead in the NFC Championship Game. That won't happen this time around at home.

Green Bay Packers vs Philadelphia Eagles
Spread: Eagles -4.5 | Moneyline: Eagles –210 | Total: 45.5

As much as you want to look back at their postseason run last year and believe the Green Bay Packers have another in store, it's difficult to buy into that transpiring against the Philadelphia Eagles. The Eagles do so many good things on both sides of the football, and the Packers play down the stretch didn't inspire any confidence.

Washington Commanders vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers
NFC Playoff Bracket: Zack

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Commanders is an interesting matchup. As much as I've been impressed with the growth and explosiveness the Commanders have shown at times this season, I simply have a hard time not trusting the more experiences Tampa Bay squad at home.

Minnesota Vikings vs Los Angeles Rams
Spread: Vikings -1.5 | Moneyline: Vikings –126 | Total: 47.5

If you don't think that Sean McVay and the Los Angeles Rams will use Dan Campbell's words to Kevin O'Connell as bulletin board material, you don't know how these professionals operate. As much as the Minnesota Vikings have majorly impressed this year, the Rams have the experience in key positions, and a young defensive line that can do damage. McVay and company pull off the upset.

Washington Commanders vs Detroit Lions
Spread: Lions -8.5 | Moneyline: Lions -520 | Commanders +400 | Total: 55.5

Wouldn't it be fun if we saw the Detroit Lions and Commanders face off? The Lions are certainly more vulnerable than their record this year suggests. Still, even with some key defensive injuries, the Lions offense will ultimately be too much to overcome for this Commanders squad.

Los Angeles Rams vs Philadelphia Eagles
Spread: Eagles -5.5 | Moneyline: Eagles -275 | Rams +225 | Total: 43.5

The Eagles have proven to do a lot of things well on both sides of the football with consistency. As much as the Rams have the talent to pull this off, I like the overall consistency and body of work that the Eagles have shown this year. With the win for the Eagles, the top seeds in the NFC will now square off for a ticket to the Super Bowl.
