Defensive Tackle
It's not a perfect roster by any means, but the Bears are a team on the rise with cap space and draft picks. It's not the most significant area that needs to be filled, but they can still use more depth at defensive tackle. Considering some of the high-value talents available, if the Bears want to spend money in free agency at this position, it won't be hard.
Potential Targets: Chris Jones, Christian Wilkins

Wide Receiver
The Chicago Bears continue to live off the trade from last season, which allowed them to acquire the 2024 first-overall pick from the Carolina Panthers and wideout DJ Moore. The former Panther had a strong debut season with the Bears, but he needs more help, especially with a rookie quarterback seemingly entering the picture. Luckily for the Bears, it's not only a deep draft class with wide receivers but also a deep free-agent class.
Potential Targets: Calvin Ridley, Marquise Brown
EDGE
The Chicago Bears are on the upswing, and to make that next leap, they need to add some beef and pass-rushers to their defense. There are multiple game plans the Bears will need to address their remaining needs this offseason. Some will come via the 2024 NFL Draft, and others will come in free agency. It wouldn't surprise us to see the Bears add some young talent via the draft and sign some EDGE rushers in free agency to complete matters.
Potential Targets: Danielle Hunter, Bryce Huff
Center
By all accounts, it's become reasonably clear the Chicago Bears will draft Caleb Williams as their next franchise quarterback. Welcoming a new quarterback into the NFL is hard, even with Williams's talent level. To do that smoothly, the Bears are in definite need of a new starting center. Some really nice options are available in free agency, especially if the Bears want to spend at the position.
Potential Targets: Lloyd Cushenberry III
Safety
The Chicago Bears need a new starting safety after they cut ties with Eddie Jackson. It's not the deepest free agent class in that regard, but multiple players who can at least work in a starting capacity for this Bears defense are still available. The Bears can choose to address this hole in the 2024 NFL Draft, in addition to adding depth pieces in free agency. This could be an area they choose to add in bulk and hope something pans out.
Potential Targets: Geno Stone, Xavier McKinney
