Lions vs 49ers MNF: 6 Favorite NFL Anytime Touchdown Best Bets

The Detroit Lions and San Francisco 49ers will meet tonight on Monday Night Football, so here are our top touchdown bets for the action and the guys you need to avoid.
How to Approach Jahmyr Gibbs (-240)
Jahmyr Gibbs is set to be the workhorse running back again, priced as the most likely guy to find the endzone at -240. He’s worth it, as he could see 25 touches tonight. However, to maximize value, we have a couple of different options. First, the simplest way would be to parlay him to score with the Lions to win at +100, but if you’re not confident in the Lions collectively, parlay him to score and rush for at least 80 yards at -110 since he ran for 106 yards last week.
Is Isaac Guerendo Worth the Price (-130)
Isaac Guerendo is set to be the lead back for the 49ers, so how should we approach his touchdown props? Listed at -130 straight up, an argument can be made to lay the juice. In the last two games as the RB1, he ran 15 and 16 times in each game, scoring two touchdowns in the first game but none the previous week. With all the injuries on the defensive side of the ball for the Lions, it’s fair to expect the 49ers to put up some points and Guerendo to lead the charge.
Must Bet: Amon-Ra St. Brown (+100)
An argument doesn’t need to be made for why we should back Amon-Ra St. Brown. He’s undeniably one of the NFL’s most productive wide receivers, having combined for 11 touchdowns across the last 13 games. I’m not too worried about the 49ers’ defense slowing down the Lions’ offense, and someone like St. Brown should be priced around -150, not +100. We’ll take the value.

George Kittle (+150)
George Kittle started his year on a tear, combining for eight touchdowns across the first nine games, but he has since failed to find the endzone across his last four games. Still, the production is there for him to score, as he’s averaged six catches per game in his previous three games. At +150, he is worth backing as the 49ers’ top red zone threat through the air. Given all their injuries, I’m not counting on the Lions’ defense to shut him down.
Additional Detroit Value Available?
Jahmyr Gibbs and Amon-Ra St. Brown are the Lions’ top two touchdown threats, but beyond them, where is the most value? First, I can’t ignore Jameson Williams at +175, as he scored in each of the last two weeks. Williams ran for and caught a touchdown in last year’s NFC Championship game. Ben Johnson is an offensive coordinator who will return to what worked in the past. Sam LaPorta’s recent uptick in targets makes him a viable option at +200, but the 49ers have been one of the better teams defending tight ends. My favorite longshot bet may be Craig Reynolds as the RB2 at +550. With this game essentially being meaningless now that next week’s game will determine who earns the No. 1 seed, it wouldn’t surprise me to see the Lions give Gibbs a rest in the second half.
Will San Francisco’s Youth Shine Through?
I wouldn’t back Deebo Samuel and Jauan Jennings at +175 to find the endzone when I can get George Kittle at +150. Still, I’d instead look to some of the 49ers’ young players to get more involved now that their season is over. Ricky Pearsall at +600 feels like a bet I need to get some action on now, with him being a former first-round pick and considering that he’s coming off a four-reception game last week under similar circumstances.
