1. Detroit Lions
The Detroit Lions look the part of the best team in the NFL this season. Both their NFC title and Super Bowl odds currently reflect that. The Lions have unfinished business in the NFC. Will injuries on defense hamper their push toward playing for the Super Bowl? The conference runs through Detroit, and that journey begins against Washington in the Divisional Round.

2. Philadelphia Eagles
The Philadelphia Eagles have found a rhythm and are arguably one of the hottest teams in the NFL. The Eagles have a defense that is difficult to solve, and the pieces are there on offense for them to make a deep run in January. Philadelphia kicked off the playoffs with a strong victory over Green Bay. Can they mimic that showing against the Rams?

5. Minnesota Vikings
Arguably the biggest surprise in the NFL this season has been the Minnesota Vikings. Sam Darnold has looked the part of a QB1, and the defense has looked great under Brian Flores. That all changed over the last two weeks, and the Vikings now have to deal with an early offseason. Will Darnold return as QB1?
3. Los Angeles Rams
Credit to the Los Angeles Rams, it would have been easy to give up on the season with the amount of injuries they've had. They haven't done that, which is exactly why they've been able to figure things out on both sides of the football. The Rams have the type of roster that can quietly make noise in the postseason, which showed against the Vikings on Wild Card Weekend. Will they show a similar compete level against Philadelphia?
NFC Championship Winner 2024-25: +650
Spread: Eagles -5.5 | Moneyline: Eagles -275 | Rams +225 | Total: 43.5
6. Green Bay Packers
The Green Bay Packers have a lot of positives with their current roster. If Jordan Love can continue growing into a top quarterback, the sky is the limit for this team. In that regard, Love took a step back down the stretch. Was it injury related, or just part of his development? Time will tell in the offseason where this franchise heads.
7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers did a lot of good things this year, but that came to a crashing halt in the Wild Card round against Washington. How will the Bucs respond in the offseason? Will we see many changes with this organization?

4. Washington Commanders
It's impossible to not be impressed with what we saw from the Washington Commanders. Jayden Daniels looks like the real deal, and the Commanders have been productive in the standings. The Commanders stunned the Buccaneers on Wild Card Weekend. Can they pull off two straight upsets against Detroit?
NFC Championship Winner 2024-25: +1100
Spread: Lions -8.5 | Moneyline: Lions -520 | Commanders +400 | Total: 55.5
8. Atlanta Falcons
Expectations were high for the Atlanta Falcons this year. It's been a mixed bag in terms of their success, but the pieces were certainly there for the Falcons to make a run at a playoff spot or the NFC South crown. That didn't ultimately transpiring, which led to another season of disappointment in Atlanta.

9. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks deserved some praise for how they started their 2024 campaign under first year head coach Mike Macdonald. Inconsistencies ultimately hurt their chances at landing a playoff spot this year. Still, there are some pieces on this roster worth building around.
10. Arizona Cardinals
The Arizona Cardinals have multiple weapons on offense, but their defense leaves a lot to be desired. The Cardinals have a lot of talent, but this team proved down the stretch they weren't ready to make a run. Let's see what transpires in the offseason.
11. San Francisco 49ers
The San Francisco 49ers look old. This isn't something we saw coming this season, but it's exactly what's transpired. Is this the end of a run for this core group in San Francisco? An interesting offseason is on the horizon for the 49ers. Will they end up back as a contender in 2025, or was this the start of a downswing?
12. Dallas Cowboys
Everything that could possibly go wrong in Dallas this year has. Will this be the offseason that the Cowboys make some real changes? You have to think so at this stage in the season. The Cowboys played with some pride down the stretch. Will that convince ownership to not tear things down after the season? It's certainly in the conversation at this stage. Mike McCarthy is the biggest talking point entering the offseason.
13. Carolina Panthers
Although the Carolina Panthers have performed better of late, we're still hesitant about trusting this team just yet. In saying that, the second half of the year provided some nice clarity on their quarterback situation of the future.
14. New Orleans Saints
The New Orleans Saints will be an interesting team to follow this offseason. Who will be under center for the Saints entering 2025? That's the biggest question mark right now.
15. Chicago Bears
The Chicago Bears continue to get in their own way. After baffling clock management on Thanksgiving, the Bears fired head coach Matt Eberflus. Surprisingly, they've looked even worse under Thomas Brown. What's in store this offseason for the Bears? Who will be the Bears next head coach?
16. New York Giants
There are some real pieces on the New York Giants roster worthy of getting excited about. The issue is that this team is still missing a franchise quarterback. Will they ultimately land that guy in the 2025 NFL Draft? The Giants are bringing the band back in 2025, which ultimately lands them in the basement of our list. Doing the same thing over and over again is the definition of insanity.
