1. Kansas City Chiefs
AFC Odds: +370
Super Bowl Odds: +600The two-time defending Super Bowl Champions didn't do much in the offseason, but they didn't need to. The Kansas City Chiefs brought back everyone they needed to and added a sneaky good draft class. There might be no dethroning the Chiefs in 2024.
31. New England Patriots
AFC Odds: +9000
Super Bowl Odds: +18000New England Patriots fans will have to satiate themselves with vintage film and game tape as they remain the least impressive team in the AFC this upcoming campaign. The Pats are several key draft picks and a few head coaches away from competing.
28. Denver Broncos
AFC Odds: +7000
Super Bowl Odds: +15000No one has had any luck reviving the Denver Broncos franchise. Coaches, quarterbacks, and a never-ending list of personnel changes have all failed. Considering that, what chance does Bo Nix have?
25. Las Vegas Raiders
AFC Odds: +4500
Super Bowl Odds: +8000Antonio Pierce made the most with the least last year, almost turning the Las Vegas Raiders into a playoff contender. Pierce needed an upgrade at quarterback to maximize the Raiders' outlook, and instead, the brass delivered him two backups.
24. Tennessee Titans
AFC Odds: +6000
Super Bowl Odds: +13000The Tennessee Titans have been one of the busiest teams this offseason. They were busy rebuilding nearly every part of their roster, adding players at every level of their defense, and bringing in vital offensive contributors. This team could exceed its current projection, but more cohesive groups are ahead of the Titans.
23. Jacksonville Jaguars
AFC Odds: +2100
Super Bowl Odds: +4500We've seen flashes of brilliance from Trevor Lawrence, but the Jacksonville Jaguars have done nothing to insulate their young pivot. After another underwhelming offseason, we're anticipating more disappointments from the Jags next year.
21. Indianapolis Colts
AFC Odds: +2500
Super Bowl Odds: +5500A full season of Anthony Richardson could see the Indianapolis Colts easily surpass their current ranking. However, the AFC South also-rans have underachieved for years. Until they prove us wrong, we'll continue to assume they fail to live up to the hype.
18. Los Angeles Chargers
AFC Odds: +2100
Super Bowl Odds: +5000The Los Angeles Chargers have underachieved more than any other team recently. But that's why Jim Harbaugh was brought in to stop the bleeding. An offseason of change later, the Chargers still have much to prove in the AFC West.
16. Buffalo Bills
AFC Odds: +700
Super Bowl Odds: +1300Foolishly, the Buffalo Bills traded their first-round pick from the NFL Draft to the only team they can't beat in the postseason. The Chiefs drafted one of the top receivers in the 2024 class, adding Xavier Worthy to their stuffed cupboards. Coincidentally, the Bills needed a wide receiver and basically guaranteed they would never compete for a championship for the rest of eternity.
15. Pittsburgh Steelers
AFC Odds: +2500
Super Bowl Odds: +5000The Pittsburgh Steelers re-imagined themselves in a matter of days. Early in the offseason, we expected Kenny Pickett to lead the underwhelming offense back onto the field at the start of the season. A few days later, the Steelers had Russell Wilson and Justin Fields competing for the starting gig. Mike Tomlin always has this team ready to play. But Wilson makes them even better in the short term.
12. New York Jets
AFC Odds: +1400
Super Bowl Odds: +2700For some reason, the NFL is tempting Aaron Rodgers into tearing his Achilles on the opening play of the season for the second straight year. Rodgers and the New York Jets take on Leonard Floyd in the season-opener. Impending doom notwithstanding, the Jets are positioned to make some noise this season.
11. Cleveland Browns
AFC Odds: +2000
Super Bowl Odds: +4000Consider us fans of everything that Kevin Stefanski brings to the table. The Cleveland Browns head coach was a catalyst for change when he was brought on ahead of the 2020 season, and we've seen the AFC North contenders elevate their performance year after year. Playmakers on both sides of the ball assure the Browns will be a threat again in 2024.
10. Cincinnati Bengals
AFC Odds: +700
Super Bowl Odds: +1300The success of the Cincinnati Bengals in 2024 is contingent on Joe Burrow's health. As we saw last season, the Bengals aren't the same team without their Pro Bowl signal-caller under center, but thankfully, their franchise cornerstone should be fully rehabilitated before the start of the season. OTAs will offer a glimpse of just how good Burrow looks.
9. Houston Texans
AFC Odds: +850
Super Bowl Odds: +1600Granted, Joe Mixon is a few years removed from his most productive campaigns. Still, the former Pro Bowler eclipsed the 1,000-yard rushing plateau for the fourth time in seven seasons in 2023. Combined with Stefon Diggs, Dalton Schultz, and C.J. Stroud, the Houston Texans will quickly assert themselves as betting favorites.
6. Miami Dolphins
AFC Odds: +1200
Super Bowl Odds: +2300The Miami Dolphins were an unstoppable force last season, and they've seemingly gotten better for the upcoming campaign. A rebuilt linebackers corps, with a few unassuming signings, could turn these guys into the team to beat in 2024.
5. Baltimore Ravens
AFC Odds: +490
Super Bowl Odds: +950The last thing the Baltimore Ravens needed was an imposing force like Derrick Henry to elevate their offense. The addition of Henry amplifies Lamar Jackson, Mark Andrews, and Zay Flowers's ceilings, making the Ravens one of the best teams in the NFL on both sides of the ball.
