8. DeMeco Ryans, Houston Texans
As much as DeMeco Ryans has had a strong record to begin his tenure as Houston Texans head coach, we're still left wanting slightly more. The Texans have a roster that can make a deep run. A win over Kansas City could create some necessary shockwaves in the AFC.
7. Dan Quinn, Washington Commanders
Dan Quinn has helped change the culture surrounding the Washington Commanders in his first year as head coach. Good quarterback play can do wonders, but the Commanders wouldn't have won 12 games this season without a significant upgrade at the head coaching position.
6. Nick Sirianni, Philadelphia Eagles
As good as the Philadelphia Eagles have looked under Nick Sirianni this year, I still have reservations about his decision-making as a head coach. Regardless of my concerns, you have to be impressed with their record this year and their transformation after how last year ended.
5. Sean McDermott, Buffalo Bills
The only pause you might have around Sean McDermott is his ability to win the big one. Clock management and game management have been some of the hurdles McDermott has faced in Buffalo in January. Will this finally be the year the Bills buck the trend?

4. John Harbaugh, Baltimore Ravens
Much like McDermott, we're still waiting on John Harbaugh to pull through with the Baltimore Ravens and get them into February again. Harbaugh remains one of the top head coaches in the NFL, and his status will immediately be upgraded if he's able to land a second Super Bowl
3. Dan Campbell, Detroit Lions
Regardless of what you think about his game management skills, Dan Campbell is one of the top motivators in the NFL. The Detroit Lions are Super Bowl contenders, and a big reason why is the culture that Campbell has helped create throughout the organization.
2. Sean McVay, Los Angeles Rams
Sean McVay has a Super Bowl under his belt and remains one of the league's top offensive minds. The Los Angeles Rams are coming off a dominant Wild Card round victory, and although some may say this is recency bias, McVay's overall resume speaks for itself.
1. Andy Reid, Kansas City Chiefs
I'm unsure how you can put Andy Reid anywhere else on this list. Sure, he has an all-time quarterback, which helps matters, but that shouldn't diminish his career accomplishments. Reid has had multiple dominant coaching runs with the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs, which includes three Super Bowls. That's good enough for us.
