5 Best Anytime Touchdown Bets for Bengals at Jaguars on MNF

Jaguars TDs: Evan Engram (+290) & Brenton Strange (+1000)
The Bengals' defense hasn’t been great against opposing tight ends and they just allowed Pat Freiermuth to go for 120 yards off of nine receptions. Evan Engram hasn’t found the endzone yet this year, which makes me unwilling to bet him over someone like Zay Jones, but knowing how consistent he’s been for Trevor Lawrence, some positive regression has to come eventually. When he has the matchup advantage, why not tonight? Looking for a longshot, we’ll stick in the Jags’ tight end room with Brenton Strange who has two red zone targets this season in comparison to Engram who only has had four. Strange already has a touchdown this year, so at +1000, why not throw a sprinkle on it?
Travis Etienne TD + Jaguars -2.5 (+100)
Travis Etienne hasn’t had a rushing touchdown in four straight games which needs to be noted, but he still has eight touchdowns combined on the season. I can’t get over how last week the Bengals’ defense allowed Najee Harris, the slowest running back I’ve ever seen, to run for 99 yards on them. I can’t fathom what Etienne could do to them. Etienne’s touchdown prop is at an ugly -145, so pairing that with the Jags to win by a field goal is a worthwhile value play to make.
Calvin Ridley (+155)
Calvin Ridley has been very consistent this season, but he’s put together a nice stretch over these last two weeks, combining for three touchdowns and 96 yards per game. The Bengals don’t pose much opposition in their secondary to what Ridley offers, so under the lights, I imagine he'll want to show the world why he’s capable of being one of football’s best wide receivers. On its face, +155 might not seem like a great value, but think of it as getting +155 for a WR1 on a pass-first team expected to score at least 25 points.
Ja’Marr Chase (+220)
As someone who constantly was touting Ja’Marr Chase touchdown props with Joe Burrow at even money, getting +220 requires some action even if it’s Jake Browning under center. We know Ja’Marr is still one of the offensive weapons in this league no matter who is throwing him the ball. Last week, he led the team in targets and managed 81 yards off of four catches. Ideally, playing from behind most of the game, there will be added passing opportunities in the Bengals' offense for Ja’Marr to capitalize on. I’ll roll the dice at +220 with more confidence than Browning probably deserves.
Zay Jones (+290)
Zay Jones has only played in five games this season and in two of those he didn’t have more than a single reception, but he still leads the team in red-zone targets per game at 1.6. With two red-zone touchdowns under his belt this season, I’d definitely bet this at +290 believing there is a strong chance that Jones finds the endzone when the Jaguars are expected to score three touchdowns.
Tyler Boyd (+480)
Tyler Boyd’s numbers were inflated last week as Tee Higgins was sidelined, but for a new quarterback, that little bit of familiarity in a game goes a long way. We know how reliable and consistent Boyd has been for Joe Burrow, so seeing that carryover without a hitch with Browning was promising. To keep this simple, with our Higgins fade, Boyd is the team’s second red zone option which we’re getting at +480. That’s definitely something I need action on!
