5 NFL Teams That Got Our Attention in Week 10

San Francisco 49ers
In what many expected to be the game of the week, the San Francisco 49ers clash with the Jacksonville Jaguars turned out to be a dud. That had nothing to do with the 49ers, who dominated this game for the full 60 minutes. After suffering three straight losses heading into their bye week, the 49ers got some healthy bodies back, leading to a dominant victory on the road in Week 10. Did we overreact to the 49ers struggles during their losing streak? It sure seems like it.
Cleveland Browns
After the Cleveland Browns fell behind 17-3 in the first quarter, it would have been easy for the team to roll over and suffer another defeat by the Baltimore Ravens. Instead, the Browns got right back in the game thanks to their defense while allowing their running game to get cooking. With a last-second field goal, the Browns stunned the Ravens, landing them at 6-3 and taking down the AFC North leaders.
Minnesota Vikings
Is it possible that Joshua Dobbs is actually better than we think? He's certainly looking like it through his first two appearances with the Minnesota Vikings. After Kirk Cousins suffered a season-ending injury, no one would have blamed the Vikings if they took a nose dive off a cliff for the rest of 2023. Instead, they've continued their winning ways and have won five games in a row. The Vikings upset the NFC South-leading New Orleans Saints in Week 10. How long can the Vikings keep this positive momentum going?
Houston Texans
One of the biggest observations we've managed to draw through Week 10 is that C.J. Stroud of the Houston Texans is a franchise quarterback. Stroud and Texans outdueled Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday afternoon. Many thought it would be another year or two before the Texans fully arrived, but they're right in the playoff picture in the AFC and can still stake their claim on the AFC South, too.
Pittsburgh Steelers
It certainly wasn't a perfect showing for the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday afternoon, but the reason we're including them on this list is for one reason. The Steelers ran the ball successfully for the second week in a row, which is exactly what this young offense needs to keep doing. Much like last season, the offensive line looked much better in the second half of the year, and if that trend continues, the Steelers might surprise some people. This isn't a contending team yet, but their defense creates turnovers at opportune times and comes with an elite pass rush.
