Jaxon Smith-Njigba (+270)
The Washington Commanders' defense has been atrocious in defending opposing wide receivers, allowing the second most yards and touchdowns to the position. Against the Seattle Seahawks offense that’s full of weapons, I believe we’re getting great value with rookie Jaxon Smith-Njigba at +270 here who has found the endzone in two of the last three games and is fresh off a season-high in receptions last week. With DK Metcalf banged up and Tyler Lockett only having a single touchdown across the past six weeks, at +270, I’ll confidently back JSN.
Michael Pittman Jr. (+180)
We need to get some action in on the game across the pond featuring the New England Patriots and Indianapolis Colts, and by process of elimination essentially, we landed on Michael Pittman Jr. The Patriots’ secondary is one of seven to have allowed at least 10 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers, and Pittman leads the NFL in red-zone receptions. He’s had a touchdown in two of his last three games and has had at least eight receptions in six of nine games this season. His volume, matchup, and red-zone production make +180 such a steal in my eyes.
TJ Hockenson (+230)
Over the past four weeks, the New Orleans Saints defense has given up four touchdowns to opposing tight ends, so you’re telling me I get TJ Hockenson to find the endzone at +230 on Sunday? Come on now. Hockenson has had at least eight targets in eight of nine games this season, so we’re not worried about him getting enough volume, but given this trend of the Saints giving up tight end touchdowns, getting +230 with one of the league’s best tight ends is something we cannot pass up on.
DeAndre Hopkins (+190)
CJ Stroud just went for 470 yards and five touchdowns against this Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense, so what could fellow Will Levis do this week for an encore? Well, even if he throws just two touchdowns, I’m almost confident one of those will be to DeAndre Hopkins. We all know D-Hop had three touchdowns in Levis’s debut, but even though he didn’t have a touchdown last week, he was targeted 11 times. Getting +190 on D-Hop to find the endzone in this spot feels too good to be true.
Dalton Schultz (+200)
We’ll keep this one simple for you. Dalton Schultz has had a touchdown in four of his last five games and faces a Cincinnati Bengals defense that’s allowed the third most yards per game to opposing tight ends. At +200, that’s good enough for me.
Ja’Marr Chase (+105)
Ja’Marr Chase had a dud performance on Sunday Night Football as Tee Higgins shined, but Higgins is now expected to be out on Sunday, opening up more targets for Chase. Knowing the bond between Chase and his quarterback, Burrow will make the extra effort to not allow Chase to have two consecutive lackluster games. Still, across the Bengals' four-game winning streak, Chase has averaged 13 targets per game and combined for four touchdowns. Against a Texans defense that really isn’t anything special, I’ll take plus-money with one of football’s best receivers all day.
Amon-Ra St. Brown (+130)
Amon-Ra St. Brown only has three touchdowns this season, but he has averaged 11 targets per game and now gets to face a Los Angeles Chargers defense that’s allowed the most passing yards on average in the league. Plus, an added bonus in my eyes, St. Brown is from the Los Angeles area so with a ton of family likely in the stands, I’ll be a sucker for a hometown performance.
