Home runs are flying at an excellent rate in 2023, and numerous players could lead the league in long balls.

Aaron Judge is back, and he really doesn’t care who knows it. Amidst some controversy in the New York Yankees series with the Toronto Blue Jays, Judge has found his swing and has now clubbed eleven home runs on the year. His odds were nearly cut in half from +700 to +360. 

3. Max Muncy +1100 (Last week: +1300) 

Max Muncy has found great success as a power hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers in 2023. He’s mashed 14 long balls and sits alone with the second-most home runs in the league. With the power surge, Muncy has seen his odds rise from +1300 to +1100. 

4. Matt Olson +1300 (Last week: +850)

Matt Olson hasn’t homered over the last week and continues to have eleven on the year. With the lack of power recently, Olson has seen his odds plummet from +850 to +1300 to lead the league in dingers. 

5. Mike Trout +1800 (Last week: +1600)

Mike Trout hit his ninth home run of the season this week and is slowly getting back into the race. Even with that in mind, Trout has seen his odds drop off from +1600 to +1800.

Ronald Acuna Jr. continues doing a little of everything for the Atlanta Braves and once again found his power stroke. The Braves’ leadoff hitter has manufactured eleven home runs after an electric week, surging into the top ten, where he now boasts +2000 odds.

Adolis Garcia makes his way inside the top ten for the first time this season, and for good reason. The Texas Rangers outfielder has quietly hit 13 home runs, with him sitting third in MLB. He’s now listed at +2500 to lead the league in homers. 

9. (Tie)  Yordan Alvarez +2500 (Last week: +1600)

One of the most feared hitters in MLB is Houston Astros slugger Yordan Alvarez. The Astros’ big bat has hit nine home runs on the year but is always someone who can tear the cover off the ball. Still, Alvarez has struggled to consistently do that this year, dropping from +1600 to +2500.
