Leg 7: De’Aaron Fox 4+ Assists
We’ll correlate our expected scoring production from Sabonis and Huerter with De’Aaron Fox to get us four assists like he’s done in 19 of his last 22 games. He had six assists against the Cavs in the previous matchup, so I’m looking forward to this being a sweat-free final leg of our parlay.
Leg 1: Evan Mobley 10+ Points
Evan Mobley has only played in three games since his return from injury, dropping 10, 8, and most recently, 28 points. If a 28-point outing doesn’t warrant a minutes increase, I don’t know what does, so we’ll trust that even if his minutes increase is only minimal, he’ll still see enough offensive volume to get us 10 points as before his injury, Mobley had at least ten points in 19 of 21 games.
Leg 2: Jarrett Allen 10+ Rebounds
Jarrett Allen has had at least ten rebounds in 17 of his last 18 games, with the lone miss being a nine-rebound showing where he only played 21 minutes. In his most recent game against the Spurs, Mobley dropped 26 points and 16 rebounds alongside Mobley’s 28-point showing, so we’re not too concerned about the big men taking opportunities away from each other.
Legs 3 & 4: Donovan Mitchell 6+ Assists & 3+ Threes
Donovan Mitchell has had at least six assists in 13 of his last 15 games since the start of January, with his two misses being games where he only played 24 and 26 minutes. In what should be a higher-scoring game by the Cavs’ standards against these fast-paced Kings, I expect there to be a ton of chances for Mitchell to get his six assists.
Looking at his production from beyond the arc, Mitchell has drilled at least three threes in 11 of his 15 games since the start of January, so we hope this high-scoring and fast-tempo game benefits Mitchell’s three-point volume.
Leg 5: Domantas Sabonis 15+ Points
Domantas Sabonis has had at least 15 points in 14 of 17 games since the start of January, with the three misses being a 13-point outing and two 14-point games. We know he’ll get us past or close to the 15-point threshold, so I’ll look to his 23-point game against the Cavs in November to confidently carry us over the top.
Leg 6: Kevin Huerter 2+ Threes
Kevin Huerter has hit at least two threes in nine of his last ten games, and while the Cavs have allowed the fewest points in the league to opposing shooting guards, Huerter hit six threes against the Cavs back in November. That’s good enough for me!
