Legs 8 & 9: LeBron James 20+ Points & 6+ Assists
LeBron James has had at least 20 points in 13 of his last 15 games while also dropping in six dimes in 23 of his previous 26 games since the start of December. You know we’ll get LeBron’s best effort being in Boston, so we’ll ride with his streaks here with confidence.
Legs 1 & 2: Jaylen Brown 20+ Points & 4+ Rebounds
Jaylen Brown’s scoring inconsistencies don’t make him the ideal candidate for us to back in our same-game parlays, especially given the blowout potential. Still, the Lakers are one of the worst defensive teams in the league against opposing shooting guards, giving me the confidence that he can use his matchup to his advantage. I trust he’ll find his way to 20 tonight on his home floor after scoring 19 in LA on a rough shooting night when these two teams met on Christmas. Looking at his rebounds, he has had at least four in 19 of his last 22 games, so let’s hope nothing crazy happens.
Legs 3 & 4: Jrue Holiday 10+ Points & 4+ Rebounds
Jrue Holiday has had at least ten points in 17 of his last 22 games and at least four rebounds in 19 of his last 23 games. In the previous matchup against the Lakers, Holiday had a rather impressive performance by his standards with 18 points and seven rebounds, so all things considered, I’m expecting Holiday to hopefully get us ten points and four boards effortlessly.
Leg 5: Kristaps Porzingis 15+ Points
Kristaps Porzingis has had at least 15 points in 16 of his last 19 games since the start of December, with his three misses being a 21-minute outing, a 6-minute night where he got injured, and a 28% shooting night where he still managed 14 points. In a regular game tonight, he’ll collect 15 points.
Legs 6 & 7: Anthony Davis 20+ Points & 10+ Rebounds
Anthony Davis has had at least 20 points in 17 of his last 20 games, including a 40-point outing against the Celtics. Looking at his production on the glass, AD also had 13 rebounds in that outing against the Celtics, but he’s had at least ten rebounds in 38 of 46 games this season. With that added motivation being underdogs against the Lakers, 20 and 10 is possible and somewhat likely.
