MLB Best Bets Today: Monday’s Top 3-Game Parlay Picks

Leg 1: Phillies +105

Where to Watch Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Mets

  • Arena: Citi Field
  • Location: Queens, NY
  • Where to Watch: SNY, NBCS-PH
  • Time: 7:10 p.m. ET
  • Spread: NYM -1.5 | Total: 8.0
  • Moneyline: NYM -125 | PHI +105
  • Phillies vs. Mets Matchup Page

Two NL East foes take to the field in what will undoubtedly be one of the most entertaining contests on Monday’s slate. The division-leading New York Mets welcome the second-place Philadelphia Phillies to Citi Field for a clash of titans.

Somewhat surprisingly, the Mets are relying on pitching to win games. Despite investing in its offense this offseason, New York ranks 19th in OPS on the season, correlating with the 12th-fewest runs. The pitcher-friendly confines of Citi Field are impacting the Mets’ ability to generate offense, and that’s unlikely to change in tonight’s pitching matchup.

The Phillies send Aaron Nola to the bump in the series opener. While the results haven’t gone his way, Nola remains a top analytics arm. He ranks in the 73rd percentile in chase and 63rd percentile in whiff rates, contributing to a 25.0% strikeout percentage. Moreover, his expected ERA is nearly three points below his actual, implying that Nola is an ideal progression candidate.

Philadelphia is priced at a discounted rate. Still, we expect Nola to shine at Citi Field. We’re getting a piece of the Phillies as plus-money underdogs.

Leg 2: Padres +125

Where to Watch San Diego Padres vs. Detroit Tigers

  • Arena: Comerica Park
  • Location: Detroit, MI
  • Where to Watch: Fox Sports 1, FDSDET, SDPA
  • Time: 6:40 p.m. ET
  • Spread: DET -1.5 | Total: 8.0
  • Moneyline: DET -150 | SDP +125
  • Padres vs. Tigers Matchup Page

The San Diego Padres don’t have any time to savor last night’s triumphant win on Sunday Night Baseball. The Padres make the northeastern trek to take on the Detroit Tigers

The Tigers have burst out of the gate in 2025. They are atop the AL Central with 13 wins through their first 22 games. However, their success is contraindicated in some of their metrics. Detroit has a modest .709 OPS on the season, falling to .618 over the past week. We’re not anticipating any growth in the series opener.

Randy Vazquez takes the ball for the Padres on Monday night. The righty has a six-pitch mix, relying on fly balls to get outs. Granted, Vazquez’s profile doesn’t play well in every ballpark, but he should do fine in Detroit. Comerica Park ranks as one of the most pitcher-friendly venues in the MLB, allowing the Padres starter to go to work.

San Diego should have no problem knocking around Keider Montero. The Friars have a deep lineup with contributors throughout, which should make it easy to keep the runs coming. The Padres’ moneyline is the play.

Leg 3: MIL-SFG Over 8.0 -105

Where to Watch Milwaukee Brewers vs San Francisco Giants

  • Arena: Oracle Park
  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Where to Watch: NBCS-BA, FDSWI
  • Time: 9:45 p.m. ET
  • Spread: SFG -1.5 | Total: 8.0
  • Moneyline: SFG -140 | MIL +120
  • Brewers vs. Giants Matchup Page

At 14-8, the San Francisco Giants would lead just about every other division in baseball. They are stuck in the NL West, meaning they are relegated to third. The Giants put that record to the test, hosting the Milwaukee Brewers at Oracle Park.

At first glance, Robbie Ray appears to be off to a good start this season. But his analytics profile points toward a very different conclusion. Ray is getting hit hard by nearly every batter he faces. His 18.4% barrel rate puts him in the fourth percentile and contributes to a 5.09 expected ERA. Things aren’t as peachy as his 3-0 record suggests.

Quinn Priester‘s analytics profile doesn’t play much better. The Brewers’ righty sits in the bottom half of the league in virtually every category, punctuated by his 14.8% barrel rate, 44.4% hard-hit rate, and 5.39 expected ERA.

Bettors expect a pitchers’ duel in this one, but our analysis supports the opposite. Neither starter has looked particularly good, meaning this inter-divisional battle could get out of hand early. The over is the way to go in this one.

MLB Best Bets Monday’s Parlay Picks: Phillies +105, Padres +125, MIL-SFG Over 8.0 -105 (+785)

Parlaying the Phillies and Padres as underdogs with the over in San Francisco returns bettors a potential +785. As supported by our analysis, that’s where our money will be on Monday night.
