MLB Betting Guide for April 22: Mets, Phillies Chasing Braves

We have an 11-game MLB slate set for today, so let’s dive into all the action.

There is just a single afternoon game today as the New York Yankees will host the Oakland Athletics. The A’s have actually been putting up better fights than many think, so we’ll see if Carlos Rodon will be able to keep the Yankees momentum rolling.

Looking at the night slate, we’ll have our eyes on the NL East squads in action as while the Atlanta Braves‘ offense may be fueling their dominance, the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets are right on their tails. The Phils are on a six-game winning streak fueled by dominant pitching while the Mets have won eight of their last ten and just took a series from the mighty Los Angeles Dodgers. If Atlanta doesn’t improve their pitching staff, can either Philly or New York steal in the NL East?

Elsewhere on the slate, we have a few interesting matchups in the AL as the Kansas City Royals will host the Toronto Blue Jays while the Los Angeles Angels will host the Baltimore Orioles.
