MLB Betting Guide for July 24: Are Mets a Real NL Threat?

All 30 MLB teams are in action today, so let’s dive into everything today’s slate will throw at us.

Highlighting the afternoon slate, the Atlanta Braves and Cincinnati Reds will open up their doubleheader while the Philadelphia Phillies and Minnesota Twins will square off for the rubber match of their three-game series.

Tonight, we’ll be focused in on the second game of the Subway Series in New York as the New York Yankees will host the New York Mets after the Mets took down the Yankees on the road in a thriller last night. The Mets now sit four games over .500 and are currently holding on to the NL’s final wild card spot, so could the Mets become buyers at the trade deadline and go all in on a potential playoff run? 

Later on, the Kansas City Royals and Arizona Diamondbacks will square off, but our eyes are on Bobby Witt Jr. as he’s hitting .492 in July. To close out the night, the Los Angeles Dodgers and the San Francisco Giants will battle it out in LA with Tyler Glasnow taking the ball for the Dodgers and Robbie Ray making his season debut for the Giants.
