MLB Betting Guide for May 15: Phillies First to 30 Wins

All 30 MLB teams are in action today, so let’s dive into everything you need to know.

Starting in the afternoon, the Baltimore Orioles will look to avoid being swept by the Toronto Blue Jays in the first game of the day in what should be a pitching duel in Baltimore. The Colorado Rockies will also carry a six-game win streak into their series final with the San Diego Padres. Even though the Rockies are just 14-28 on the season now, they haven’t been the easy that the Padres likely thought they were heading into this series.

Later, the Philadelphia Phillies will host the New York Mets in the back half of their home and home four-game series. The Phillies became the first team in baseball to reach the 30-win mark yesterday as Aaron Nola tossed a complete game shutout, continuing to showcase how elite this Phillies team has been at the plate and on the mound. Tonight, they’ll have Ranger Suarez ready to go, and as an NL Cy Young frontrunner, the Phils should become the first team to have 31 wins too.

Additionally, the Cleveland Guardians will look to sweep the Texas Rangers, who are now losers of five straight. Plus, the New York Yankees will face the Minnesota Twins again as the Yankees are now in sole possession of first place in the AL given the recent struggles in Baltimore.
