MLB Betting Guide for May 29: Padres Being Overlooked in NL?

We have a 16-game MLB slate stretching throughout the entire day today, so let’s dive into everything you need to know.

Kicking off the day, the future of the Pittsburgh Pirates will be on display in a doubleheader against the Detroit Tigers as Jared Jones will take the ball first against AL Cy Young hopeful Tarik Skubal, and Paul Skenes will take the mound in the second game.

Additionally, in the afternoon, the Philadelphia Phillies will look to avoid being swept by the San Francisco Giants, and the Arizona Diamondbacks and Texas Rangers will continue on with their World Series rematch after the Rangers took the first game last night. Later, in the NL, Shota Imanaga will take the ball for the Chicago Cubs in their divisional battle with the Milwaukee Brewers, and the Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals will face off once again. 

Over in the American League, the Cleveland Guardians now have a narrow lead over the New York Yankees for the best record in the AL. The Guardians will face the Colorado Rockies and the Yankees will face the Los Angeles Angels tonight.
