MLB Betting Guide for May 6: Phillies Continue to Dominate MLB

We have a 10-game MLB slate, and after a fun weekend of baseball around the league, let’s dive into all the action to kick off a fresh week.

There is just a single late-afternoon game today as the Philadelphia Phillies will go for the four-game sweep of the San Francisco Giants with Zack Wheeler taking the mound. The Phillies now lead the MLB with 24 wins and have a 2.5 game lead on the Atlanta Braves in the NL East, so after the Phillies came short in the division crown in each of the past two seasons, you can still get Philly to win the division at +220. Seems like there is plenty of value to be had there especially considering Atlanta’s lack of depth in the starting rotation.

Later on, we have an intriguing AL Central battle as the Cleveland Guardians and Detroit Tigers will meet as both teams have overacheived immensley thus far. Plus, the Kansas City Royals and Milwaukee Brewers will meet in another battle of teams who have exceeded expectations.

Closing out the night, keep an eye on the surprisingly not-dead Oakland Atheltics as they host the Texas Rangers, while the Los Angeles Dodgers will look to continue to build momentum with the Miami Marlins coming to town.
