As we enter the final week of the MLB regular season, we have a four-game slate to kick off the slate, so let’s break down the matchups up for you.
Starting in South Philly, the Philadelphia Phillies will host the Chicago Cubs with the chance to clinch the NL East crown with a win tonight. After dropping three of four to the New York Mets in a tense series over the weekend, tonight looks to be a prime spot for a bounce-back win with Aaron Nola on the mound.
Additionally, the Toronto Blue Jays will host the Boston Red Sox in a virtually meaningless AL East clash, but the Houston Astros will host the Seattle Mariners with the chance to clinch the AL West crown. Closing out the night, the Arizona Diamondbacks and San Francisco Giants will battle it out in the desert, with the D-backs looking to hold on to their NL wild-card spot.
