MLB Betting Guide for Sept. 9: Bobby Baseball takes on Yanks

After an epic weekend of sports, we’re back for a Monday baseball slate with nine interesting games to dive into. Let’s break the big ones down and pump out some winners!

Atop the National League, the Los Angeles Dodgers are back on top after taking two of three from the Cleveland Guardians over the weekend. They’re in action tonight against a dangerous and motivated Chicago Cubs team that’s fighting to get back into the NL Wild Card picutre, sitting just five games back of the final spot. Above the Cubs, the New York Mets and Atlanta Braves are in a tie for the NL’s final wild card spot currently with the Mets going north of the border tonight to face the Toronto Blue Jays and the Atlanta Braves sitting at home to face the Cincinnati Reds. Additionally, the Philadelphia Phillies are back home tonight to welcome the Tampa Bay Rays into town as the Phils sit just a game back of the Dodgers for the NL’s top seed. 

In the American League, the New York Yankees hold the top spot for now as they welcome in a Kansas City Royals squad that’s currently on a four-game win streak. Bobby Witt Jr. may have an uphill battle to overtake the AL MVP from Aaron Judge, but it will be very exciting to see two of the AL’s best square off. The Baltimore Orioles and Cleveland Guardians are right behind the Yankees with the O’s on the road in Fenway to face the Boston Red Sox while the Guards have a great opportunity to stack wins against the Chicago White Sox.
