We nearly cashed our ultimate same-game parlay, but the New York Yankees couldn’t get the job done in extra innings, so we’re back for vengeance tonight with some late-night action as the San Diego Padres will host the Milwaukee Brewers.

Leg 1: Brewers ML
I’m higher on the Brewers than most, and they have every matchup advantage tonight despite the odds for tonight being essentially split down the mound. They’ll have the better pitcher on the mound in Bryse Wilson, who boasts a respectable 3.84 ERA on the year compared to Adam Mazur for the Padres, who hasn’t looked too reliable in his limited action thus far this season. The top of the Brewers’ lineup is underrated, matching up well with the Padres’ sluggers considering Mazur’s struggles, and the Padres will be returning home from playing in Philadelphia just yesterday afternoon. By comparison, the Brewers had to hop on a bus from Anaheim and make the short drive down to San Diego. The Padres are being given too much respect in this spot, so I’ll back the better team here with confidence to kick off our parlay.
Leg 2: Christian Yelich 2+ Total Bases
Christian Yelich has had a hit in six of his last seven games, and of those six games with a hit, he’s recorded at least two total bases in five of them. He’s been one of baseball’s most underrated hitters all season, so I’ll expect him to continue his hot streak against a subpar righty against whom he has the matchup advantage.
Leg 3: William Contreras 1+ Hit
Like Yelich, William Contreras has been one of the NL’s most dangerous hitters, hitting .304 on the season. He’s had a hit in 11 of his last 12 games, so we have no reason not to back him here too.
Leg 4: Brice Turang 1+ Hit
Brice Turang hasn’t had the best June, hitting just .226. However, overall this season, he’s hitting .294 against right-handed pitching and .331 on the road. Mazur is a righty, and tonight’s game will be played in San Diego, so enough said!
Leg 5: Jurickson Profar 1+ Hit
Jurickson Profar has been a machine this season, posting a .323 batting average for the second-highest mark in all baseball among qualified players. He’s recorded at least a hit in 16 of his last 21 games, so we’ll look for his talent to win out tonight in his home ballpark, where he’s slashed a .342 batting average.
Leg 6: Fernando Tatis Jr. 1+ Hit
To close out our parlay, we’ll throw Fernando Tatis Jr. into it and forget about it, as he’s had a hit in 20 of his last 23 games. Let’s ride!
