We have afternoon baseball on deck, as the Philadelphia Phillies will look to sweep the Milwaukee Brewers today. Aaron Nola will take the ball for the Phillies, and Aaron Ashby will take the mound for his second appearance of the season, so we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay to have you covered for the action.
Valued at +1150, let’s ride!

Leg 1: Phillies ML
The Phillies are an absolute wagon in their own ballpark, giving us no reason to go against them here, especially with Nola taking the ball. In games where Nola starts this season, the Phillies boast a 10-2 record, compared to Ashby for the Brewers, who was shaky in his lone appearance this season. Keep it simple: back the better team with the better pitcher in their home ballpark.
Leg 2: Aaron Nola 5+ Strikeouts
Aaron Nola has tossed at least five strikeouts in eight of his last nine games, and while the Brewers don’t strike out a whole bunch, Nola has good enough stuff to make a difference. He’ll go six innings comfortably today, giving him more than enough chances to strike out five.
Leg 3: Bryce Harper 1+ Hit
Bryce Harper boasts a .317 batting average this season in Citizens Bank Park compared to just .200 on the road, and he’s hit in four of five games this homestand. Ashby isn’t good enough to slow that down.
Leg 4: Nick Castellanos 1+ Hit
Nick Castellanos rides the momentum wave rather drastically, and he’s full of it after he walked it off last night in extra innings. He’s had a hit in six of his last seven, so we’ll trust he can continue swinging a confident bat today.
Leg 5: Edmundo Sosa 1+ Hit
Edmundo Sosa has had a hit in 20 of his last 25 games, and he’s priced at –175 to get a hit today. The value is too great for us to overlook.
Leg 6: Christian Yelich 1+ Hit
Christian Yelich is a .318 hitter on the season, and he boasts a career .306 batting average across 36 ABs against Aaron Nola. While his hits come more in bunches rather than an everyday contribution, I trust his numbers enough against Nola to back him here as the Brewers will look to avoid the sweep.
Leg 7: Rhys Hoskins 1+ Hit
This series has been all about Rhys Hoskins returning to Citizens Bank Park, and he’s managed to record a hit in both games thus far this series in front of his old crowd. After being Nola’s teammate for seven years, I’m sure he wants to put a ball in the gap or out of the park against him.
