MLB SGP: +1250 Washington Nationals @ Philadelphia Phillies

We have a fun NL East battle set tonight under the Friday night lights as the Philadelphia Phillies will host the Washington Nationals, so we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

Valued at +1250, let’s ride!

Swing for the Fences with SportsGrid’s free daily MLB Game Picks and MLB Prop Picks.

Leg 1: Phillies -1.5

The Phillies have owned the Nationals in recent years, and this season alone, they own a 6-1 record against them, with all six wins being by at least multiple runs. Things haven’t been pretty late for the Phillies across the board, but over the last two games, we’ve seen them wake up a bit as the offense has combined for 22 runs across the past two games. The Phillies also have a significant pitching advantage, with Aaron Nola set to face Patrick Corbin. We’ll tout the Phillies to cover the run line at home tonight.

Leg 2: Bryce Harper 2+ Total Bases

Bryce Harper has recorded at least two total bases in eight of his last 12 games, and he sports a career .326 batting average against Corbin. We’ll fade Corbin any chance we get tonight. We’ll eye Harper to get a massive hit tonight with the home-crowd momentum behind him, which he feeds off of better than anyone else.

Leg 3: Kyle Schwarber 2+ Total Bases

Contrary to the usual sentiment, Kyle Schwarber has obliterated left-handed pitching this season, as he owns a .333 batting average against lefties compared to just .205 against righties. Corbin is arguably the worst left-handed pitcher in all of baseball, and Schwarber sports a .333 batting average against him in his career. There is no reason for us not to expect him to get us at least two total bases tonight.

Leg 4: JT Realmuto 1+ Hit

JT Realmuto owns a .371 batting average against Corbin in his career, and he’s had a hit in five of his last six games after going through a nasty slump. At home against Corbin, the matchup advantage is too great not to trust JT here.

Leg 5: Weston Wilson 1+ Hit

Weston Wilson is an unknown to most baseball fans given all the talent surrounding him on the Phillies’ offense, but he bursted onto the scene last night as he hit for the cycle. Phils’ manager Rob Thomson says he expects to use Wilson more down the stretch as a right-handed outfield bat, given his success against lefties, so we’re confident he’ll find his way into the starting lineup tonight. Wilson has only seen at least four at-bats in four games this year and recorded a hit in all four. We’re certainly not too worried about him hitting Corbin tonight.

Leg 6: James Wood 1+ Hit

On the Nationals’ side, we’ll ride with James Wood to record a hit tonight like he’s done in 11 of his last 14 games. Plus, he owns a .305 batting average on the road this season, so we’ll trust that he can get us a hit at some point tonight.
