MLB SGP: +750 Atlanta Braves @ Philadelphia Phillies

We have an epic NL East clash on deck for tonight in South Philly as the Philadelphia Phillies are set to host the Atlanta Braves for the series opener of a four-game set. The Braves are just five games back of the Phillies in the standings, so given all the importance of tonight’s game, we worked up an ultimate same-game parlay for the action.

The Phils are favored on the money line at -154 as the home team, with Cristopher Sanchez slated to take the mound, but we don’t want to confidently tout the Phils here as the Braves have been surging of late and will put Charlie Morton on the bump. Instead, we’re hoping for an epic, high-scoring battle. Let’s dive into it.

Valued at +750, let’s ride!

Leg 1: Bryce Harper 2+ Total Bases

Bryce Harper has recorded at least two total bases in five of his last six games and has posted impressive career numbers against Morton. In 26 career at-bats, Harper has posted a .423 batting average, and after the Phils got embarrassed yesterday afternoon by the Houston Astros, Harper is the type of guy to take that loss to heart and want to put the team on his back. We’ll trust him to do just that.

Leg 2: Alec Bohm 1+ Hit

Alec Bohm has recorded a hit in 23 of his last 27 games, and he’s posted a career .444 batting average against Morton across 27 at-bats. What else is there to ask for here?

Leg 3: Matt Olson 2+ Total Bases

Matt Olson has woken up a bit at the plate in recent weeks, and he enters tonight blazing hot as he’s recorded at least two total bases in five straight games and six of his last seven. He’s been better statistically against left-handed pitchers, so we’ll trust he can stay hot at the plate.

Leg 4: Marcell Ozuna 1+ Hit

To close out our parlay, we can’t go wrong by touting Marcell Ozuna to record a hit, as he’s posted a .340 batting average in July. He’s had a hit in 12 of his last 13 games and has gone 3-7 in his career against Cristopher Sanchez. Let’s get the offense rolling!
