Introduction
The Boston Red Sox continued their active offseason on Wednesday, signing free agent third baseman Alex Bregman to a three-year, $120 million contract.
Bregman spent the first nine years of his career with the Houston Astros, helping the team win two World Series titles while being named an All-Star twice. An elite defender, he captured his first Gold Glove this past season.
With Rafael Devers entrenched at the hot corner, Bregman is expected to move to second base — a position he last played in 2018.
Here's a look at Boston's 2025 potential lineup with the 30-year-old in the fold.
