Best NBA Betting Picks for Friday: 3-Game Parlay Predictions

Leg 1: Warriors -1

Where to Watch Denver Nuggets vs. Golden State Warriors

  • Arena: Chase Center
  • Location: San Francisco, CA
  • Where to Watch: NBA TV, NBCS-BA, and ALT
  • Time: 10:00 p.m. ET
  • Spread: GSW -1 | Total: 234.5
  • Moneyline: GSW -120 | DEN +100
  • Nuggets vs. Warriors Matchup Page

The Golden State Warriors continued their winning ways with last night’s convincing 123-116 win over the Los Angeles Lakers. The Dubs are back in action tonight, looking to make it five straight wins as they host the Denver Nuggets.

Golden State’s winning streak has been ignited by a scoring surge and increased offensive efficiency. Most notably, the Warriors have dialed it up from range, averaging 20.7 three-pointers per game over their last three. Predictably, that correlates with a sharp increase in three-point attempts. Golden State is up to 49.3 long-distance attempts per game across their four-game sample.

Coincidentally, Denver is one of the worst teams in the league at defending the three. Opponents are averaging a 36.4% three-point shooting percentage versus the Nuggets, tied for the ninth-highest mark in the league. The Nuggets are trending in the wrong direction down the stretch. They have just three wins over their last eight games, including a more recent two-game losing streak.

This is a short spread for a surging offense. We like the Warriors’ chances of continuing their winning ways and covering the minuscule number at home.

Leg 2: Spurs +13

Where to Watch Cleveland Cavaliers vs. San Antonio Spurs

  • Arena: Frost Bank Center
  • Location: San Antonio, TX
  • Where to Watch: KENS, FDSOH
  • Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
  • Spread: CLE -13 | Total: 241.5
  • Moneyline: CLE -800 | SAS +550
  • Cavaliers vs. Spurs Matchup Page

The Cleveland Cavaliers have reversed course from a four-game losing streak, winning five of their past six. Still, despite their resurgent efforts, the Cavs have struggled to cover the spread. They’re in tough again on Friday night, taking on a resilient San Antonio Spurs squad.

With just three ATS victories over their last ten, the Cavaliers are failing to live up to their lofty expectations. Granted, they continue to lead the Eastern Conference and are virtually guaranteed the top seed in the playoffs. However, that reputation has precipitated overconfidence in the betting market.

Many expected the Spurs to fold without Victor Wembanyama, but we’ve seen more cohesive showings from San Antonio without its main man. They have covered the number in six of their last nine while being underdogs in all but two of those contests. Moreover, the Spurs are 19-19 against the spread at home, accounting for 54.3% of their ATS victories.

Lately, Cleveland has been unable to pull away from its competition. At the same time, the Spurs have put together some unexpectedly solid showings. Those waves collide in what should be a more tightly contested affair than the betting line implies.

Leg 3: UTH-IND Under 237.5

Where to Watch Utah Jazz vs. Indiana Pacers

  • Arena: Gainbridge Fieldhouse
  • Location: Indianapolis, IN
  • Where to Watch: FDSIN, KJZZ
  • Time: 7:00 p.m. ET
  • Spread: IND -16 | Total: 237.5
  • Moneyline: IND -1300 | UTH +800
  • Jazz vs. Pacers Matchup Page

The Utah Jazz are just running out the clock on the 2024-25 season, resulting in some depleted efforts. Without a win since March 19 and amid a downturn in offensive production, the Jazz and Indiana Pacers should stay beneath the total at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse.

Utah’s offense has struggled all season, even more so over its recent schedule. Since their last win, the Jazz are mustering just 101.0 points per game while falling below the century mark in three of those seven contests. As expected, Utah has fallen under the total in four of those contests.

Likewise, the Pacers have seen a modest decline in their offensive production. Over their last three games, they are putting up a below-average 113.7 points per game. Naturally, that correlates with a less efficient 47.2% shooting percentage, including 36.2% from beyond the arc.

These teams’ offensive metrics have them pointed away from the hefty total. As a result, we’re making a play on the under in this inter-conference affair.
