Week 13 College Football Playoff Scenarios: Predicting Every Significant Game

No. 15 Texas A&M Aggies (-2.5) vs Auburn Tigers
This is a very interesting spread. Although I question whether Auburn can keep it as close as the spread indicates, it's pretty clear this is a lookahead spot for the Aggies next week against Texas.

Wake Forest Demon Deacons vs No. 11 Miami Hurricanes (-24.5)
Although there are definitely some flaws with the Miami Hurricanes, their offense is far too talented to not beat up on this Wake Forest team.

Prediction: Miami 46, Wake Forest 20

No. 5 Indiana Hoosiers vs No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes (-13.5)
What an interesting matchup. I've seen what Ohio State can do against top teams in the country. I'm not saying Indiana can't do it, I just haven't seen it. Make me a believer.

Prediction: Ohio State 33, Indiana 15
No. 13 SMU Mustangs (-9.5) vs Virginia Cavaliers
I can certainly see a world where the Virginia Cavaliers make this a game. I just think SMU punches back and covers.

Prediction: SMU 33, Virginia 20
No. 9 Ole Miss Rebels (-10.5) vs Florida Gators
This Ole Miss team might be one of the top teams in the country. Still, don't count out the momentum that this Florida team is quietly building down the stretch.

Prediction: Ole Miss 27, Florida 20
UMass Minutemen vs No. 8 Georgia Bulldogs (-42.5)
The Georgia Bulldogs might not be happy with how the committee is viewing them right now. That's not good news for UMass.

Prediction: Georgia 45, UMass 0
UTEP Miners vs No. 10 Tennessee Volunteers (-41.5)
I think the Volunteers will be upset after how they performed against Georgia last week. Give me Tennessee big.

Prediction: Tennessee 51, UTEP 7
No. 14 BYU Cougars vs No. 21 Arizona State Sun Devils (-3.5)
This line tells you a lot about how these teams are playing entering this matchup. I like Arizona State just a sliver more.

No. 16 Colorado Buffaloes (-3.5) vs Kansas Jayhawks
This remains a much better Kansas team than their record indicates. They proved that last week, but I think they run into some problems here against this Colorado offense.

Prediction: Colorado 37, Kansas 30

Kentucky Wildcats vs No. 3 Texas Longhorns (-20.5)
We've seen this Kentucky team give certain SEC teams problems this season. I don't think the Longhorns will ultimately fall under that same category.

Prediction: Texas 38, Kentucky 13
No. 4 Penn State Nittany Lions (-11.5) vs Minnesota Golden Gophers
As much as this Penn State roster is talented, I think the Golden Gophers can do a good enough job with their defense to limit them in key spots. Minnesota pulls off the stunner.

Prediction: Minnesota 23, Penn State 20
No. 18 Army Black Knights vs. No. 6 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (-14.5)
What a matchup this one looks to be. As strong as Notre Dame has looked against the majority of their schedule, I think Army can do enough in the trenches to keep this one tighter than the spread indicates.

Prediction: Notre Dame 25, Army 14
No. 12 Boise State Broncos (-22.5) vs Wyoming Cowboys
This Boise State offense shouldn't have many issues from the Cowboys in the clash. The Broncos run continues into their regular season finale.

Prediction: Boise State 44, Wyoming 21
No. 7 Alabama Crimson Tide (-13.5) vs Oklahoma Sooners
It's hard to be more disappointed in a program than I am with Oklahoma. I think the Crimson Tide are better in all facets of the game here.

Prediction: Alabama 30, Oklahoma 14
