10) RB Keyvone Lee, Mississippi State
Keyvone Lee spent three seasons at Penn State before transferring to Mississippi State, where he hoped he would finally get the opportunity to lead a backfield. The running back has yet to emerge as the playmaker he believes he can be, and now he enters the portal, hoping one last fresh start could be the key to unlocking his potential. Nonetheless, with 1,509 scrimmage yards and eight touchdowns in his career, he will likely have options.
1) WR Mike Matthews, Tennessee
Mike Matthews committed to Tennessee as a five-star recruit out of high school. Despite having plenty of hype surrounding him entering his freshman season with the Vols, the talented wideout saw minimal opportunities to showcase his talent on the field. As a result, Matthews announced his decision to enter the transfer portal, where he'll likely gain plenty of interest from top programs hoping to land a big-time playmaker ahead of next season.
2) WR Squirrel White, Tennessee
Squirrel White joins a list of talented Tennessee players opting to enter the transfer portal following the end of the season. The wide receiver entered the 2024 season with high hopes after a big year in 2023 with 803 receiving yards and two touchdowns. However, after a down year, the Alabama native hits the portal, where he is reportedly looking to join a program closer to home.
3) WR Isaiah Neyor, Nebraska
Isaiah Neyor began his college career in Wyoming before transferring to Texas in 2023, where he saw few opportunities in the field. After a stop with the Longhorns, the wide receiver joined Nebraska last offseason, hoping to rejuvenate his career. Neyor reeled in 34 receptions for 455 receiving yards and five touchdowns this season with the Cornhuskers. Following his solid season under Matt Rhule, the six-foot-four pass catcher hits the portal.
4) LB Jimmori Robinson, UTSA
Jimmori Robinson is yet another UTSA Roadrunner to enter his name into the transfer portal. The linebacker is coming fresh off a career year, racking up 43 total tackles, 10.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two pass defenses. Looking to prove he can have the same impact against the top teams in the nation, the senior enters the portal looking to use his remaining eligibility to make a difference elsewhere.
5) EDGE Bradley Weaver, Ohio
Bradley Weaver put together a solid season once again for Ohio showcasing his ability to rush the quarterback. The edge rusher ended his junior campaign with 44 total tackles, 8.5 sacks and three forced fumbles. Entering the transfer portal with plenty of film and eligibility remaining, the six-foot-four defender has the tools to be force in the trenches and he's looking to showcase that with his next opportunity.
6) LB Lewis Carter, Oklahoma
Lewis Carter committed to Oklahoma as a four-star recruit out of high school. The linebacker showed flashes in his two seasons with the Sooners. Still, following a decent year for OU, the versatile defender has opted to enter the portal looking for new beginnings and a more significant role elsewhere. Considering his multiple years of eligibility left and his potential on the field, Carter should have plenty of options.
7) CB Denver Harris, UTSA
Denver Harris is another former five-star recruit who has opted to enter his name into the transfer portal. The cornerback initially committed to Texas A&M out of high school before transferring to LSU after a lackluster freshman season. Following another inconsistent season with the Tigers, Harris transferred to UTSA, where he has yet to fully put it together. Now, the defender enters the portal again, hoping another fresh start could turn things around.
8) DB Antonio White Jr., Rutgers
Antonio White Jr. committed to Rutgers as a four-star recruit out of high school. The true freshman didn't see much action in his first season with the Scarlet Knights, and now he enters the portal, where he'll likely have plenty of top teams interested in his services. At six-foot-two, the cornerback has the size and skill set to be a lockdown defender in any team's secondary. He just has to find the right team to continue his development and reach his potential.
9) DL DD Holmes, Florida State
DD Holmes committed to Florida State as a four-star recruit out of high school. After seeing very little opportunity on the field in his freshman season, he opted to enter the transfer portal after watching the Seminoles' 2-10 season from the sideline. As teams look to bolster their defensive line depth, he should have plenty of suitors who are interested in taking on his development.
10) RB Keyvone Lee, Mississippi State
