From First to Worst: Ranking Every 2-0 NFL Team

1. Kansas City Chiefs
Until a team dethrones the Kansas City Chiefs, it's almost impossible not to rank them atop this list and as the favorites to win a third Super Bowl in a row. Patrick Mahomes, paired with this high-end defense, continues to be the high bar set in the NFL.

2. Houston Texans
Although we've yet to see the Houston Texans play a complete game on both sides of the football, you can see the ceiling of this group under C.J. Stroud. The Texans are a bonafide Super Bowl contender, and their demanding schedule doesn't' deter us from staking that claim.
3. Buffalo Bills
We might have been too early in dismissing the Buffalo Bills in the AFC. The team looks reenergized, and head coach Sean McDermott is doing some of his best work. Don't sleep on the Bills with Josh Allen at the helm.
4. New Orleans Saints
The biggest surprise at 2-0 for me is the New Orleans Saints. After bringing in Klint Kubiak as their new offensive coordinator, the Saints offense is humming along under Derek Carr. The defense gets enough pressure that we've seen from the Saints looks sustainable.

5. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Pittsburgh Steelers have been carried by an elite defense early on and an offense that's done just enough to win football games. If that's the priority in Pittsburgh this year, don't be surprised to see them with double-digit wins again.

6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers continue to prove that last season wasn't a fluke. They avenged their postseason loss to Detroit in Week 2, and they look like a formidable threat in the NFC. The Buccaneers will be in the running for a playoff spot and the NFC South crown.
7. Minnesota Vikings
The Minnesota Vikings are a surprise entrant on this list. Sam Darnold has done everything asked of him as the QB1 for the Vikings, and the defense looks much better than it did a year ago. Let's see if they can continue rolling.
8. Seattle Seahawks
The Seattle Seahawks look like a team that can challenge for a postseason berth in the NFC. Under Ryan Grubb, the offense looks much more explosive, and the defense shows signs of growth and improvement.
9. Los Angeles Chargers
It's not as though I think the Los Angeles Chargers are bad; I just want to see them beat an excellent football team. So far, they've played precisely how Jim Harbaugh wants them to, and their record shows. Someone had to be last on this list.
